I did get a pot of roses which was nice. I certainly didn't get spoiled though, but that's ok too.

Well a pot of roses sounds very nice!

It was so cute at Cub Foods yesterday. They opened up a check out just for flowers, and they were wrapping them for the guys./ About five guys, from all walks of life, were waiting in line to pick out bouquets, roses, etc., and have them wrapped up for their sweeties. I watched them waiting in line, and that was so sweet. ๐Ÿ™‚

I always have to smile when I see guys buying stuff for their s/o. I saw one guy with a HUGE teddybear. He was young. I didn't see any women buying anything though.

I have bought stuff for my boyfriend before, but not often. I think his feelings were hurt that I didn't buy anything. ๐Ÿ˜ข

I always feel bad that I don't send my mom a V-Day card. But I am just not a big V-Day person. She used to send to me and the boys, but she stopped a few years back. My brother sent her a really nice card, then of course I felt even more guilty for not remembering my mama on V-Day, lol. But I did call her and tell her Happy Valentine's Day. I should surprise her with flowers or something next year. Or at least a card. lol!

I usually get my sons a little something. But we had so much candy around here this week that I bought them Subway and told them Happy V-Day, then called my middle son and left him a message. I don't think he and his GF are big on this holiday either, but I am not sure. I think they just celebrate their anniversaries.

Another Halmark Holiday. lol

I have ordered my mom candy through the mail before. I usually send her a card, because my dad used to make such a big deal of the holiday. I did neither this year. I didn't even send my grandson a card. I felt bad about it, but just how it worked out this year.
