Banned from Facebook, officially!

I have never had to verify my facebook account by cell phone. Is that what you mean Ubetcha that it was required of you?

One of the last hold outs here. I was just uncomfortable when I had my FB. I know it would be good for certain things, like raising money, etc., selling something if someone has thing to sell or promote something, but I was just really uncomfortable when I was on FB. Then, to add to my irritation, I found out I could not delete my account. I can only "deactivate" it. So, if I go and sign in at any time, my account is there forever and will pop right back up. If I want to deactivate it again, after that, I have to go through all the steps to do so again. Makes me angry that I don't have the choice to delete it forever, if that is MY choice.

I am on a couple of social sites, and I figured I did not need another place to spend my time or become addicted to. I will stick with CL and a few other places. lol

Were you really banned or did you just not update info soon enough or what? What exactly is going on? 🤷

I have never had to verify my account. I don't want to verify by cellphone either. I am only on there to see photos of relatives. I rarely even comment on anything.

I thought I was deleting my account, but it must have just been deactivated also. I keep getting email messages that people have sent me FB messages. I hate how they always ask if you know this person (a friend of a friend) and do you want to friend them.

I adjusted this in the privacy settings so that only my facebook friends can message me, post or comment on anything of mine. I enjoy it cuz I have family and some friends from all over so it is an easy connect with them.
