Powerball is going up..!

I buy MegaMillions now that Powerball is $2.00, but with it up this high, I will have to buy a ticket.

I am buying a ticket for sure. I haven't played any lottery in a few months, but did get $100 on a scratch ticket not that long ago. Maybe my luck is improving! 🙂

Wow, that is a decent win for a scratch off. I rarely win that much on scratch offs.

Minnesota has their first 30 dollar scratch off with the potential to win 1 million dollars. I remember seeing five or six of those at a time offered in Florida, and I couldn't believe it, lol, (for a scratch off) and now they are here. I am always too chicken to dole out 20 or 30 bucks for ONE ticket, though, even if the odds are better.

I love the Slingo and crosswords, because they take a while to scratch. I played a Slingo slot machine at the land casino earlier this month that was almost exactly like the scratch off.

I do need to purchase a PowerBall when it is up that high.

The winner of the Powerball got the ticket from Lapeer, Michigan. That is not too far from my area... I sure hope it isn't an ex-girlfriend I used to have there. With my luck she would take and use all of that cash to make my life miserable! 😜

Haha! Were you on THAT bad of terms with ALL of your ex-girlfriends, 'Slim? lol! I heard the winner was from that area, so I knew my ticket didn't win BIG, but I was hoping to win at least something, but nope! 😢 That is an insanely huge amount of money to win. I think they said it would be around 170 million when all was said and done with the cash option and after taxes. Someone's life is a lot happier and easier today! 🙂 (Just so it is not one of those exes, lol)

If memory serves me correctly, one of my buddies was back from Iraq and my friends were having a party for him, and this girl from that area was spending the night at my house. She did not want to go, which made me upset. I then proceeded to tell her that I was going for a few minutes to say hi, and ended up staying for about 5 hours.

When I eventually came back, she was still there (much to my chagrin) and not very happy. While trying to smooth things over my drunken buddies came sauntering over to my house and were slapping the windows and moaning...

That was the last night I ever saw her. 😜

In Michigan the winner cannot stay anonymous. He or she has 180 days from the drawing to come forward or else they forfeit their prize.

Could you imagine if this ticket was lost or thrown away before the drawing??? The winner may not even know they won the lottery!

Now that would be someone's WORST nightmare. Remember the woman who claimed she had a ticket but did not or whatever? lol

Has anyone come forward yet? I haven't been paying attention to any follow-up if there has been any.
