The Dark Knight Rises

3 replies • Last post

Aside from the horrible Colorado shooting, has anyone here gotten out to see The Dark Knight Rises? I was treated to a free movie ticket last week and checked this out.

I thought it was FANTASTIC.

Without putting any spoilers in to begin with, I want to talk to someone who has seen this movie as I have a question to which everyone I have talked to has a different opinion.

Let me know if you have seen it.

My youngest son saw the midnight showing in Mpls the same night of the shootings. I think he said it was good, but not as good as the other one, whatever that one was, lol. Can you tell I haven't seen any of them? lol I could ask him for you, because I doubt I will ever watch it. MAYBE on DVD. We'll see.

Not yet. Everyone I know who has seen it says it is awesome so I'm trying to find the time to go see it.

They did Batman Begins then The Dark Knight before this one hope. The Dark Knight is one of the best films I have ever seen. Its well worth watching even if you're not into Batman or comic books.

Agreed. The films really translate well to the every day person who is not that into comics or anything. I would put The Dark Knight Rises closer to the first film than the second, but it is still really amazing.

Check it out if you get the chance. It is worth it.
