I know what you mean about the heat. I think our entire country is in a heat wave. Our adversary was supposed to end last night, and they extended it for another 24 hours. Hit 102 today, but tonight it is cooling down already, and the air feels SO good. I love having the windows open after being closed up with the air on 24/7 for at least the past week. I feel SO sorry for those out east who lost electric. They have even set up "cooling stations" for the people. I can't imagine.
I hope you continue to get better each day. If you could not celebrate today, then pick another day to live it up and have that sushi. We do that all the time in our family, lol. Whatever day works. Sometimes I just have a "birthday week" or even a "birthday month." lol Whatever works.

However, this good time was ended when my grandma fell into me and broke her hip! Needless to say we have been at the hospital all day with her as she has to have surgery in the morning (120 miles from home!).
I have had a rough week and a subpar birthday all around I guess. This must be what happens when you get old (28)...

Oh, no! That is terrible news. I think you BETTER pick another date for your birthday this year! Your poor grandma. That has to be difficult being so far from home. How old is your grandmother?
