Having read between the lines of your post Marrie I would strongly suggest that to avoid catastrophe you just bet with the smallest amounts possible at all times. Then just stick to the strategy you are using now as it is probably just as good as anything else > remember gambling is gambling. 🍺

Oh yes, it's important to remember that gambling is only a form of entertainment. If you forget about this simple rule you can easily become addicted to it!

Yes, that's important but once you win some really big money, it's hard to stop. I think that gambling can't be your only form of entertainment and relax, and it's veeeeery important to control it in 100%.

Great advice! That is really the best strategy for any gambling. Other than that, play a blackjack strategy like is found on this site.

it is easy to stop if you set limits for yourself.

I still think the main point to the original poster should be to always take it easy on the stakes (ie gamble with the smallest amount possible). Only ever raise these stakes when you have winnings from the casino. This is not foolproof though as I am sure experienced players in here will all testify too...., when that anger to regain losses digs in its sure hard to fight off :\ :\

I agree. Don't rise your stakes when you lose, 'cause you'll probably lose even more money. Ohh yes, it's difficult to set limits for yourself while playing but if you want to win you have to do it. Good luck!

Strategies is defined as technique for me and if you can't have it, I'm sure you'll not enjoy and of course you'll not win. But the most important thing you do is that be more focused and do the best effort that you can do. 🙂

Nathan, depends on your game! For slots one of the others will give you better guidance (I have seen bets of 1 cent on offer myself) but for roulette for example you can play for 0.10 dollar/pound/euro each bet at a few casinos. I am comfy with this size and then if I am in profit I can increase using winnings. Choose your game and hunt around in here for recommended casinos that offer you stakes of a size you can handle.
