Messing With My Neighbor

17 replies • Last post

My neighbor is a real crotch (to say it nicely) and so is her entire family. To summarize:

- She and her husband live in the house
- Her two 45ish sons moved back in the house
- One of the boys is a convicted pedophile who was staring at my kids from his backyard until I built a fence
- The mom picks sticks up from her yard and throws them into my yard, even though they aren't from my trees

I decided enough was enough and have recently begun a campaign of retaliation against the old bitty.

My plans include:

- Buying a metal trash can and strands of firecrackers like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zVWUGIf0BqA&feature=related The crackers will then be lit at 11pm, after they go to bed in front of their house

- They hate squirrels, so we bought a giant can of peanuts and are going to toss them into her yard at night.

Any other suggestions guys? Is this mean of me? Am I wrong?

Hahaha! OMGosh, I cannot WAIT until Lucky Me reads THIS thread. She has the same issue. Crazy, loud neighbors who fight all the time. You two have to put your heads together and come up with more retaliation.

I do have to say the convicted pedophile thing would cause me to move in an instant. How old are your children? THAT is scary. I know there are probably such people living everywhere, and we are often not aware, and at least you ARE aware, but that makes me sick!

Just be careful, because people like that are unpredictable, and you don't know how they will react to your campaign. lol

Wow, that is scary! My kids are grown, but I would certainly be concerned. I can imagine how disgusted you are. I had to laugh though at some of your suggestions.

My neighbors are a pita. Fortunately, I'm renting so I can just move.

Do you have a loud, barking dog? Can your kids be noisy late at night and very early in the morning? Can you become a hoarder? Do you have any motorcycle gang relatives? Can you throw several parties several times a week? The thing is you can't risk disturbing the other neighbors can you?

Seriously, I feel for ya. The sons probably aren't going to move out until the economy gets better.

Did the authorities notify you of the pedophile moving into the neighborhood?

I have tried the dog thing in the past, but mine don't really bark.

What I did do that really got them upset was this:

I took my dog waste bucket and opened the lid and put it on my property line, right next to their driveway. Their car was about maybe 3-4 feet away and it STINKS. Today I was getting my mail and the mom asked me to get rid of the "dog doo doo" because it stinks and she doesn't like it. I said that was funny because I don't much like her 45 year old pedophile starting at my kids. lol

Yeah I would be careful with a pedo next door. You don't want to annoy him too much. Who knows what he might do.

Man I feel for you. I'd be paranoid any time the kids weren't in my sight. Can you still round up a posse and chase em out of town like in the old days?

Oh, I have taken all of the precautions I can with him. My kids know that if they talk to him he "will eat them", and they will not go into his yard under any circumstances.

Aggravating things last year was the fact that I went to the police and said he was staring at my kids. They told me that it isn't a crime, so they can't do anything, but because of the constant complaints me and my neighbors have made, he is on the sex offender list for life.

We then discovered that he had told his mom that he quit smoking, but was instead sneaking around to the side of the house and smoking then flicking his cigarette butts at my house. Some of them were right at the natural gas line of my house.

Needless to say there are some very bad feelings right now. Without anything that I can do legally, I am just hoping to get him outta here.

Posses aren't legal here, but bullhorns, firecrackers, and general ruckus causing are definitely in order.

Good luck Slim. I can't wait for the day we can move and leave our bothersome neighbors behind.

BURN YOUR NEIGHBOUR'S HOUSE WITH EVERYONE INSIDE!!!! YEAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!
Idk, i have a 1 year old baby. If anyone dares to touch him, hurting him badly, i'm able to kill the offender without any remorse.

My stupid neighbor just got through weed wacking his yard for almost an hour, flinging rocks and dirt hitting my house. Then he spent time yelling at his kid which he does a lot.

We had new neighbors who moved in this past fall. They hired a band and had an all day party! The bands were really loud. At about midnight, someone finally called the police, and they quieted down. They made a comment about betting the neighbors really loved them. They could have just invited everyone to the party.

Have you thought about having a loud party Slim? Have you thought about renting your house out and moving someplace else?

You seriously did this? That is way too funny! I hope no squirrels were (or will be) harmed in the harassment of your neighbors.

Its great watching them searching their yard for these nuts. They are picking up individual nuts. Not the shell... There have to be thousands of them out there.

I got a boombox really cheap the other day at a Garage Sale, and I found a parody of the Staind song "It's Been A While" called "I'm A Pedophile". This will be blasted on a loop for a while the next time they do something to my house.

Oh, and yesterday we found the guy's cigarette buts right over by my kids' swing set. I put up a trail cam on one of my trees to catch him in the act. We will see if anything comes of this.

You are hard core! You should buy some detective books to learn more about surveilance (sp?) etc. So, do you think he was actually standing in your yard by the swingset? Are there OTHER neighbors bothered by these people who could help with your cause? That is just creepy. Sad

Oh yes, everybody else hates them. Things actually came to a head last night when a kid had a ball go in their yard and the old lady started beating her windows screaming and flipping the bird to the kid.

That in my eyes was unacceptable (and unacceptable in the eyes of the neighbors too). Hence the real fun began:

- One neighbor did a burnout in front of their house in his truck and left a 70 foot skid mark on the road.

- The kid's grandmother got into it with the old lady

- I wrote funny things on their sidewalk with chalk while smoking a few cigars while the mother flipped me off. After my cigars were done I proceeded to flick the cigar butt into their yard.

- I just bought a Ghetto Blaster on Amazon which will be providing my outside music this summer.

- Took action to get her sex offender son blocked from using facebook.

It is on! lol
