Happy Saint Patrick's Day, Everyone!

3 replies • Last post

I have a feeling the celebrations in Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota, are going to get crazy on Saturday. The weather here is unseasonably warm, St. Patty's is landing on a week end day, Saturday, and the green beer will be flowing. No one has to be Irish to try to claim the heritage tomorrow, lol.

I am 1/4 Irish, because my dad was 1/2 English and 1/2 Irish. My grandma (his mother) told a story of HER grandmother sitting in a rocking chair in front of the fire place, smoking a pipe, and talking to the leprechauns. I never had the nerve to ask what was in the pipe. lol

May the "luck of the Irish" be with us all today. Win some big jackpots, friends!

I was listening to a show on Coast 2 Coast last night. The authors of a book swear there are leprechauns. They were serious. I've never seen one, but there's always the first time.

I had a few Guinness and Killians in my man cave to celebrate on St. Patrick's Day.

It is amazing that in the almost 7 years I have been able to legally drink that I have NEVER gone out even ONCE to celebrate my 0% Irish ancestry.

I may have to change that next year!

haha Slim. I don't drink at all, but when I did, I mostly drank at home. Maybe you can celebrate next year by going out.
