Never-ending trivia

We're going to play a bit of a game in this thread - I start off by asking a trivia question and you try to answer it. If you get the answer right, you then ask the next question.

The only rule is this: don't ask a new question until the current one has been answered.

So here we go, first question. If you know the answer just post it then ask the next question. If you aren't sure you have the right answer just wait until I or someone else confirms it!

In which film does Bruce Lee fight Jackie Chan?

I agree with Usne on this one - for what I know about people who go there, most of them are looking forward to the thrill of gambling, and another majority are a bit ashamed of saying that one of the main purposes of their visit is to try their luck. 🙄

Alright I have successfully stumped the crowd here! It my proudest achievement yet!

The answer is 5%. Only 5% of people surveyed say they travel to Vegas to gamble! 87% end up gambling - although that doesn't necessarily mean that gambling was the main reason for going there.

For my next question ...

Which James Bond filmed featured a swimsuit model that was born a man?

You're right CatFace but I think that's the first time I've ever seen the words transsexual and hottie in the same sentence!

Ok, my turn to make you put your thinking caps on:

Where does Santa Clause actually come from? I mean, his origins, not where he lives now. 😉

Dutch. 🙂 The story's actually based on the Dutch legend of St. Nicholas, whom they call Sinterklaas - the association for Santa Claus is obvious. 🙂

Your turn Ed...

I was thinking about this for a while today, trying to figure out which is one of the most popular books in the world, and the title that kept coming back to my mind was Bible. I just Googled and found it may be true. Mate, tell me I'm wrong, I just can't stand the irony of this... 😂

Actually that reminds me of when I used to work in a bookstore while I was at school and university. People used to shoplift books like crazy.

We found a 2 metre long gap in one of the shelves one day where someone must have come in and taken a whole row of books from the shelf in one go. Another time we caught a man trying to leave the store with a giant bag full of more than 30 copies of the same street directory.

I don't recall any mass Bible theft though! 😈

Looool, people are strange, they can always surprise you! 😂

Anyway, I don't think I can top such an interesting question, but let me do my best:

What is the most recognized song in English?

I am going to take a wild guess here and say its "Happy Birthday". Not sure if it's right but i have heard it's the most sung song of all time.

My guess would be happy birthday too.

Did you know that it is still under copyright? So you hardly ever see it sung on tv or in movies because they producers have to pay a fee. Instead they sign from "for he's a jolly good fellow" because that bit isn't copyrighted. Its totally ridiculous that a song that old can still be copyrighted.

Their names are: Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner, Blitzen, Rudolph, Dasher, Dancer, Prancer.

Hope that's the whole team. 😕

Tricky ... I used to play Super Mario Bros when I was a kid and my daughter does now so I asked her but she doesn't know either!
