Bands and Music A to Z

245 replies • Last post

Hello CL Friends!

The A to Z movie thread seems to be popular, so I thought I would start one more, only for this thread we post bands and singers A to Z. We do NOT post songs, but you may post any band and/or singer.

(When on the road, my sons and I play a variation of this, that we call, simply, "the band game." We name a band and we have to take the LAST letter of the band or singer and the next we name must begin with that letter. It is more difficult and challenging than A to Z, and there also tends to be a lot of repeats for the last letter. Just thought I would share another idea. 🙂 )

I will begin!

A - A Perfect Circle

Well, I will play along but I am horrible at band names. I am going to say

Enya

and I hope that is the name of a group and not a song. It's nice to have some fresh games to play.

Sorry, hon, but it has to be in alphabetical order, just like the movie thread. No worries! Just find a singer or band that begins with "B," and you can save Enya for another day. 🙂 You can always look it up on the internet if you get stumped.

Ok, I saw this part and mistakenly thought this is what we were supposed to do.

Aha! That explains everything. No, I was just sharing a variation with everyone. This one will be A to Z. Thanks for explaining, LM and Great choice for "B!"

I am only up on some of the current music, thanks to my sons and their ages. 🙂 I still love the oldies, though, too. I love such a diversity of music, new and old and almost all genres!

SG, I saw them in 1978, I think it was! My brother surprised me with tickets, and I was a HUGE fan, as a teenage (dating myself, lol). I thought my boyfriend (childhood sweetheart) looked like Mick, lol!
