Ok, for this game you change one letter in the word to make a different word. Example:

moose...change the o to a u and you get mouse

house

I was just viewing this game in another forum, and it is kind of cool how they do it. They change a letter, but then the next person has to use that word. So.....if I posted king and you changed it to kind, then the next person has to use "kind" as their word and might post rind, then mind or whatever and on and on until they get "stuck." I just wanted to tell you about the variation, because it looks kind of fun.

Can we use proper nouns for this game, so could I post:

Mable? If not, let me know, and I will try again. 🙂

New word:

Well, we learn something new every day, I guess, lol. "Streek" comes up underlined in red, which indicates a misspelling, but there ARE new words out there every day, so I believe ya! 😉

share

I will change the a to o and go to the sea....

shore 🙂

Antidisestablishmentarianism lol Just kidding!

I never knew if it was underlined in red that it was a misspelling. This entry shows it is British dialect but not in red.
streek   [streek] Show IPA British Dialect
verb (used with object)
1.
to stretch (one's limbs), as on awakening or by exercise.
2.
to extend (one's hand or arm), as in reaching for or offering an object.
3.
to stretch out or prepare (a corpse) for burial.

At least we learned a new word, not that I will remember it. So glad I don't have to change a letter in that long word!!! 🙂

I will change the f to b for bender

New word..........letter

LOL, well my long word is underlined in red, too, but that is really a word. My computer is set to underline misspelled words in read, so are my Word Documents. That helps, sometimes, when I am typing in a hurry.

letter I will change the "e" to "i" for
