Be Careful What you Wish for Game

Hi Everyone!

I hope you all like these fun, forum games as much as I do, and that is okay that I post a few, now and then. Gives us more topics to choose from, and I think this one is fun and you get to be creative and use your imaginations! 🙂

This can be a really fun (and funny) game!

The Rules are Simple:

1. The first person posts a wish.

2. The second poster grants the first wish, but with a twist so the granted wish is rendered useless (or difficult). After you grant a wish, PLEASE REMEMBER to post YOUR wish!

Here are three examples:
Poster #1: I wish I had a million dollars.

Poster #2: Granted, but you get it in pennies.

Poster #1: I wish I could end world hunger.

Poster #2: Granted, but only if you starve to death.

Here is one some can relate to, unfortunately:

Poster #1: I wish to win a giant jackpot.

Poster #2: Granted, but they pay out one dollar per week. (lol)

Get the idea? Good! Then I will make the first wish. 🙂

I wish I were twenty years younger!

Spring already came early and it rained, remember? lol!

Okay. I'll play. 😉

Spring comes early, but just for ONE day in February, and the ground hog sees his shadow during that day and decides there will be no early spring.

I wish I had a chocolate fountain in my kitchen. 🙂

Well crap. lol

I will grant your wish but the fountain never stops running. You fill up ever container in your house (like Lucy in the candy factory)

I wish for an endless supply of good movies to watch.

LOL! I can picture THAT! I LOVED that episode; wasn't it great?

You have an endless supply of good movies to watch, but you become so anxious about having to watch them all that you stay in the same place (except bathroom breaks) for over one week staring, bleary-eyed at the TV while your boyfriend brings you nothing but cereal and milk to live on.

I wish that I had a magic genie who would grant me some wishes! lol

I will grant your magic genie wish but every time he poofs out of the bottle he also poofs in the air. lol

I wish to be able to hang out my laundry and have it smell fresh.

Lol!

You hang out your laundry to smell fresh, but every time you do there is a flock of birds who just have to drop something on your nice, clean sheets and towels, lol.

I wish could make time last forever.

Well poop. I will grant your wish for time to last forever but when you wake up you realize everything was just a dream including this blog.

I wish to visit the mountains again for a getaway.

You visit the mountains, but you get stranded in the mountains for 6 months and you have to live off streams and berries.

I wish I could live in Florida during the winter!

I will grant your wish but a freak cold front comes through and dumps a few inches of snow each day.

I wish to catch a big fish this year.

LOL, not last time, but the time before I visited Florida, they were having a "cold snap." It was in the high 60s and it was rainy. We drank coffee on the beach and wore sweatshirts and had our towels around us. I just kept telling myself it was much colder back home, lol. Last time I visited it was unseasonably WARM so that made up for the other trip. 🙂 I still had fun and I was still away from home.

You catch a BIG fish, but it is so big that you can't reel it in and you have to let it go. Your camera malfunctions and you can't get a photo and everyone thinks you are telling "big fish tales," when you try to share your story. (lol)

I wish for three months of non-stop summer (no rain, no cold!)

I had a big fish once and it took me twenty minutes to reel it in. It really wasn't that big......lol.......maybe 3-4 pounds but to me it was big. I don't see how those people fight those big ocean fish for hours on end.

I will grant your wish but you contract (heaven forbid) some contagious disease and are locked in your house.

I wish for my house to be spotlessly clean.

Your house becomes spotlessly clean, but only by you developing OCD, and you can do nothing but clean 24/7, because you don't want one speck of dirt or one dirty towel in your house!

I wish for a professional massage!

Oh geez that would be worse than it being cluttered. If I was cleaning all the time I would have no time to be here.

I will grant your professional massage but the person giving you the massage has hands the size of a flea.

I wish for perfect eyesight.

I have seen programs where people have OCD that bad, and that would be such a horrible feeling! One woman could NEVER have one dirty towel in the house ever!

You will gain perfect eyesight, but you will become hearing impaired.

I wish for my childhood dream of living on a lake to come true (hope I did not post this one before, as I am too lazy to go refresh my memory, lol)

I'm too lazy to check so it doesn't matter. I will grant your wish to live on a lake but unfortunately there is a drought and the lake dries up. 😢

I grant your wish but you must tie him into a sling type holder and lower him down by rope which gets heavier each time you do it.

I wish for some motivation.

LOL! I can picture that in my head: poor Oti! :\ :'(

You get some motivation, but the only thing you are motivated to do is run around and around the room while singing your favorite song over and over and you drive your boyfriend crazy!

I wish for peace and quiet.

Please know that Oti would be safe and sound. 🙂 He might even like it.

I will grant your wish for peace and quiet but after six months of this you wish to hear noise again. (My singing would drive myself and my bf crazy. That would be funny though).

I wish for everyday to have sunshine.

You have sunshine every day, but the sun comes so close to the earth that you can only go outdoors for five minutes at a time or get burned up.

I wish to never again have a migraine.

Ouch, I think that happens sometimes now. I grant your wish but you have toes that stick out an inch longer than your toes.

LOL! I would almost rather have "mutant toes" than migraines. haha!

I grant your wish for no clutter ever again, but.........you become so intense about no clutter that you throw away everything, including important papers and things with sentimental value that you intended to save.

I wish I could afford to get a few areas of my body "lifted," if you know what I mean, haha! 😉

Lol, do you have body parts hanging down to your knees?

I will grant you wish but your incompetent surgeon gets the body parts mixed up and lifts things that didn't need to be lifted.

I wish for starry nights.

LOL, none of your business, LM! haha! 😉 I knew I was opening myself up for something quite scary with that one, lol!

I will grant your wish for starry nights, but they do not go away, and you have starry nights AND days 365 days per year!

I wish for endless grocery money!

Lol Hope, I know your body parts don't hang down to your knees. I like the idea of stars all the time. Thank

I will grant your wish but it creates an ocd type of shopping with you and all you do is buy all the time.

I wish for a foot massage. 🙂

You get a foot massage, but you must agree to have the foot soak first with the little fishes nibbling the dirt off your feet before you get your massage by a hideous looking man with only three fingers on each hand. lol! (I do love a good foot massage, lol!).

I wish for a big plate of jo jo potatoes and sour cream from Rafferty's restaurant.

OMG. This has disgusted me just a little but I got a big laugh out of it.

I will grant your wish BUT the potatoes are uncooked and the sour cream really is sour because it has not been refrigerated.

Now you made me hungry. I wish for pizza from my hometown. It is the best anywhere!

Yes, you do have great pizza, as Chicago is known for its pizza. I definitely shared some with my ex (boyfriend, not husband) when we visited. Yum! THE BEST!

Your pizza is delivered, but the pizza man drops it all over your doorstep, panics, and then he runs away. Your dog thinks he left him a treat and starts trying to eat it all. When you call the place back, no one will answer the phone and you crave pizza all night long! lol

I wish for more time in a day!

Oh my Hope, lol, this is so funny that I'm not even bummed out. Actually Chicago is not my hometown. I have never had pizza as good as the place back home. They have Giordanos here which is pretty good but I don't care for the other pizzas here really. I have never tried Genos East, have you?

I grant your wish for more time in the day however you do so much because you are awake that you end up sleeping most of the time out of exhaustion.

I wish I could control the weather by the touch of a button.

Yes, but aren't you close to Chicago, and they are known for their pizza? I am confused as to why that is funny? lol My favorite pizza place is in my mom's town, but Chicago is much better. I thought you meant you wanted pizza where you live right now? i am still confused, lol.

You are granted your wish, but the buttons malfunction, so you can only choose rain or snow!

I wish I could press a "mute" button for some people, only SOME of the time, lol! (I was actually thinking of this one BEFORE you posted about your "touch of a button," lol)

Hope, I don't consider where I live now my hometown. To me my hometown is where I was born and raised. It is nothing like where I live now. The pizza guy dropping the pizza was funny because I could just see my dogs going crazy to get out the door to get the pizza!
