Superbowl impressions and did you win or lose your money last night?:)

9 replies • Last post

So, New England once again the champions. I really expected this because they had experience of the finals but i made a bet on Rams because i used bonus money and was forced to bet on odds not lower than 2 (decimal) and wasnt able to take handicap because of the rules. So i lost it. But how was your results on betting and impressions on this event in general?

I lost every single bet I placed. Interestingly, I was going to put money on Julian Edleman being MVP, but like a dope I didn't do it. Oh well, I like the Patriots and was happy to see them win.

I had the Rams +3 for the main game, and it looked like that may have been a decent bet for a while.

I'm already looking forward to the next season.

I've never been into betting for sports as I'm not too interested in it and would probably lose quickly. But I'm interested to hear how it went for others- any luck?

Didn't placed any bets there.

I thought the Patriots should of been considered a huge favorites after what they've done away to Chiefs at the AFC finals but never really had a deep thought of staking it.

Had a decent day yesterday staking to football so decided not to push my luck further.

Obviously under for a points total and Patriots win would of been a really nice stakes.

What's been the handicap you've chased?

Edelman was just outstanding and that would of been a really good bet Dustin, I just saw the last year Superbowl highlights when he's been probably injured cause I didn't saw him in play and the Patriots used a variety of receivers back then but not this time and he has been in a great form almost the whole season long.

But +3 on Rams... Really Dustin?!?

Obviously you've expected a close game but the Rams didn't been too impressive in the last games of the regular season and at the NFC final they've beat the Saints by a debatable ref's decision (remember..the New Orleans screw job 😉 ) and the Saints wasn't great lately themselves so I really expected a convincing Patriots win...and if it wasn't the outstanding Rams defense display that game would of been out of their reach quite earlier.

The Rams doesn't look to be ready offensively for this game probably they not have enough experience too but they've been outplayed and out coached by the Patriots and Belichick like McVay admits himself.

I'm kind of Patriots fan my self so I was really glad to see one of the greatest dynasties in sport ever winning it again, hopefully next year they will be right there again, as for the Rams..they should make a learning experience from that.

Belichik said that they studied the game-plan that the Lions used when they played the Rams in December to come up with their defensive scheme.

If the fact that the Lions have never made it to the Super Bowl didn't make me want to throw a toaster in the bath tub, that snippet certainly did.

Ha-ha...maybe next season Dustin... 😜

so the Lyons thought the plan...and the Patriots studied it, when we know who's the Lions head coach now Belichick could of just give him a call instead 😉

I saw another interview with Belichick when he said he's not shy of using another people good ideas...and I understand now what he's meant.

I've been bed bound the last few days with the flu, ugh, and didnt watch the game , I'm not a huge football fan anyway.
I'm happy to hear New England won, although judging from my Facebook news feed, I hear the halftime show was so bad, it sucked out loud , any thoughts about that from those of you who seem it?

I was disappointed already when heard who will sing during the half time because believe me or not i even didnt know who are these Maroon 5 🙂 But actually every song they sang i knew very well just because listened these songs at the clubs, supermarkets, radio and so on:) It was good show in high quality but...comparing it just in general but comparing to previous super bowl concerts i really didnt like it. It didnt take me emotionally. just i liked that moment when a fire was falling to the stadium. I always love special effects:)

I felt a sleep at the half, LoL,it's been like 3am here but reading your post seems like I didn't miss much with the half time show(I'm not watching Super Bowl because of it anyway) so I saw game record but ht show and all the commercials have been cut off so in fact I've been surprised how quickly it's gone 🙂

A bit ashamed to admit that in fact I like some of the Maroons songs generally 😳..so let's see it here.

Yeah...it sucks if you ask me...the best part have been the clip...just before the show started 😀
