Hi Jakub, not sure what's the betting options at the Olympic gmes would be as I'm mainly a football bettor but now after you started the thread I will check the possibilities, definitely.

I live in a country where it hardly ever snows, and only in a couple of places. In other words, don't listen to my winter olympics tips! 😂

No. A few hundred kilometres away in my state it does snow in winter, in part of the country they call the Snowy Mountains. I think we use the term "mountain" very loosely. If you are from Europe, like a friend of mine who came here from Austria, you could be staring straight at our highest mountain and be wondering where the mountain is.

Anyway I was watching some winter olympics last night and I think I have sore knees just from watching the moguls skiiing. I can't even comprehend why anyone thinks that event is a good idea!

The Australian TV was focussed on that because apparently, unbeknownst to anyone, Australia has a world champion women's moguls skier. She finished 5th which greatly disappointed the TV network here who talk the mostly mediocre Australian competitors up so much it is embarrassing for them. I honestly do not care about someone's life history, her love for her pet dog, and how proud her parents are. These are all things the TV here chose to show last night instead of the other actual events that were happening without Australians of course.

At lest on paper I'm from Europe Ed 😉 and yeah we have a few mountains here although not as high as those in the Alps but still some tops +2000m in hight...but can't say in the last winters it snows as much as before, probably the climate has changed globally...

Yeah not too big of a fan of that style...like you said.. it doesn't even look natural...for the knees anyway.
It was pretty interesting yesterday in the womens Short track skating but otherwise I'm quite interested in most of the sports...beside the figure skating of course 😉
Speaking of a betting tips...there were two big upsets at the hockey tournament as Slovakia defeated favourite N1 Russia from a 2-0 down and same in the other game when Slovenia turned the score against USA, not checked the odds but I'm sure they were pretty high and maybe staking on the hockey tournament could be a good idea, in the absence of the NHL'ers the teams would be quite even I believe.

Here's an example how you could use the even strength teams at the Olympic Ice hockey tournament.
