Premier League

The English Premier League is one of the most entertaining football leagues in the world and I would love to discuss all that happens there along with all connected to the PL betting of course.
For example I'm in shock the way standings looks at the moment and particularly the fact that Leicester City has a realistic chances to do the unthinkable and become a champions, who were thought of that before the season starts. I think the odds for that to happen were somewhere around 5000 😲 before the beginning.

Here is both title contenders schedule till the end, as we all know the last three would be tough for Leicester but let's hope they will enter those with a decent point advantage and by that I mean at least 5 point difference.

Spurs --------- Leicester

Stoke (a) --------- West Ham (h)
West Brom (h) --------- Swansea (h)
Chelsea (a) --------- Man Utd (a)
Southampton (h) --------- Everton (h)
Newcastle (a) --------- Chelsea (a)

I think Spurs have easier matches but i'm sure they will lose some more points and Leicester will win the trophy. At least i hope so

I think we are all Leicester City fans this season 🙂 With an exception of the Spurs fans of course, just would be hard not to be implicated in their cause, they are just so big underdogs or at least they were.

Forgot to mention Palace - Everton 0-0 draw from tonight PL action probably not too much to comment on that...
and of course quarter final in the FA Cup which was played tonight between West Ham and Man United. The visitors were the better team trough most of the game and I think deservedly 2-0 ahead but after that, surprise, surprise they just stop playing and only De Gea and some really good luck saved the victory for them.

Here is the odds for the games which involved the title race teams, I think it won't be easy for either of them.
Leicester v West Ham
1.91 - 3.30 - 4.20

Stoke v Tottenham
4.50 - 3.40 - 1.85

It won't be easy but i hope to see another victory from Leicester.

Today is Chelsea - Manchester City, will be a tense match and City needs 3 points for a UCL place.

Leicester lost 2 big points (or they rescued a point) today. I'm waiting to see Stoke - Tottenham tomorrow. Will Tottenham reach to reduce the difference? I hope no, but I think they will do it.

I think the way game developed it was lucky for Leicester that they were able to clinch a point from that one, but every point counts so could be an important one in the end, not so sure about Spurs success tomorrow though.

Yes, Leicester was lucky to obtain one point, and i think this point will count a lot. Tottenham will win for sure today, they know this is their last chance.

I didn't expected so convincing Spurs victory, the final games would be very interesting now and will be important how many games would be a Vardy suspension.

Time for Leicester to step up and prove they are worthy champions now. They won't have Vardy for at least 1 match, probably more after his stupid reaction to being sent off after his obvious dive. While I want Leicester to win, I don't mind seeing players banned longer for dissent and abusing the referees. It has been allowed to go too far for too long and they need to do something about it so the players show more respect.

You're so right CL-Ed.
Today is a very interesting match, Newcastle vs Manchester City and booth teams needs 3 points, Newcastle to avoid relegation and City for the 3rd place for a UCL group stage qualify. I think it will not be easy for City and maybe Newcastle will obtain at least 1 point.

I see that you can get 6.50 for a Newcastle win so the bookies don't give them much chance. Neither do I. I think City will win this one as they have turned around their mini slump with 3 wins in a row and have too much class.

I have the same opinion, i don't think Newcastle can make some problems today. City are in a good shape and they need all 3 points. The 1.55 odd on a City victory is not bad

Well we're both wrong! Maybe Newcastle really have turned a corner. Its a tough game for them away to Liverpool this weekend although Liverpool will probably be playing the reserves like they did against Bournemouth as they have a game against Everton tonight.

apart from Liverpool - Everton today is Manchester Utd - Crystal Palace and West Ham - Watford. United needs 3 points if they want to have chance for a UCL place so i think it will be a nice match to watch

I don't know... Manchester United games are never nice to watch this season. They play terrible football. But they seem to be doing enough to keep winning lately.

United won yesterday so Arsenal will have to win today against West Brom or they can lose not just the 3rd place but also the 4th place. I'm sure they will do it and even if the odds are not high i think it worth to bet on them

Comepletelly agree with your thouths Ed, although for me Vardy situation wasn't the usual simulation in the penalty box, there was a contact between the two players although no doubtfully Vardy was the player who was looking for such contact. Anyway would be a big loss for Leicester, hope that would not be for more than a game.

True Liverpool fan speaking here 😉 🙂
Although for my biggest regret I could tell the same thing with one note, not only this season but all the time since Van Gaal's arriving to the club.

Yes I'm a Liverpool supporter but I like to think I'm fair minded! 😂 Man United really have played awful boring football this season. It was a cracking goal from Darmian the other night though, a great volley bang in off the post.

Arsenal won last night after two great goals from Sanchez. His turn to set up the shot for the first was amazing and I loved the way he picked the gap in the wall for the free kick. You could tell it was planned by the way his teammate looked behind to see where the keeper was standing then leaned out of the way to make a hole for the shot.

Every week Spurs games are schedule after those of Leicester which could be a controversing thing and in fact not exactly sure who getting advantage of that but it's a little bit annoying I think.
I'm exited about United semifinal today, think that any of the team involved in the semis is not in too great shape but that doesn't meant it won't be interesting.

I think the schedule was made before the start of the competition so I think is just a coincidence. I just hope Leicester will win the 3 points, and I think hey will made it again with their favorite score, 1-0

I think some of the games are rescheduled during the season, for example Leicester never play during regular league matches which is Saturday afternoon 15:00 BT which would be strange if that is set before the season when nobody knew what will be their role in the league. Anyway don't think it's so important although both Spurs and Leicester fans could have their arguments that it's not for the good of their team.

Leicester made one more big step toward the title yesterda when they beat Swansea and the pressure will be all over the Spurs tonight although I doubt that anyone thinks they won't win against WBA side which won't be overmotivated I think.

😲 Huge upset at White Hart lane. After that Spurs mistake Leicester City are almost there, just 3 games to go and 7 points clear, I don't think it could go wrong for them from now on, the miracles does happens obviously but why we should call that a miracle when Foxes were simply the best team this season.

Leicester must win it now, surely!?!?
