Spain still looking good but have other teams evolved a winning strategy against the iberian game?

Who's gonna win?

Also > Super odds from one of the Uk bookmakers on 2 classic english habits. I will be backing them both...

7/1 on England going out on penalties... 😈

2.5/1 on an England player seeing red and being sent off.... ✋

I gonna be a millionaire... 🤑

I betted on Spain, but I would never expect the Spanish team to kick Italians' asses 4:0 🙄

Yes the Olympics are a bit of a lottery. It depends on who shows up because the teams are under 23s with a few over-age players thrown in. Argentina with Messi won it last time and they haven't even qualified this time.

Here's a decent article that I found covering the teams. Sounds like a bit of liquorice all-sorts:

Brazil and Spain surely? The Japanese have a lot of good young players these days. It wouldn't surprise me to see them do well.

Spot on Ed 👍 , I was going to pick the same 2 and will now see what odds can be found on perhaps a final between them 🍺

Brazil with Hulk will be very entertaining and with the 3 (maybe more?) full national team members in Spain's squad that must make them a good punt.

By the way did you see the kids who tried to pinch the Olympic torch and run off with it the other day? Haha, they will be talking about that for their entire lives.... 😂

Skinny odds on both Brazil and Spain :'( , nothing tempting yet - maybe closer to the games we will start to see more interesting offerings and odds on things like "youngest goal scorer" (> bound to be a Brazilian in nappies) or "longest national anthem" or even better "times wrong anthem played' 😂 .... i jest but you know what I mean, so far no 🤑 in straight win bets. so no deal. Will keep posting ☕
