Streaming Casino playing on platforms such as youtube...

6 replies • Last post

So I'm working on a book with a very good strategy I've invented with regards to playing roulette, I love my system and can whole heartedly say the strategy works way better than it should do but still not guarantee's the player a 100% win rate. My question however is this.

As I'm still constantly wanting to test my strategy, I was wondering if I could stream this onto say a youtube channel to prove the strategy works as intended for my audience and potential customers? Are there regulations around doing this? Do I need permission from the Casino's I'm using? Would there be any potential backlash in me doing this?

TIA

There's no roulette strategy and your strategy doesn't work. I don't think YouTube will allow them to be posted on their site, but I'm not 100%.

Either way, your system doesn't work.

For one you haven't even seen my system, for two I have sat at roulette tables for hours and days on end testing this system, It works shockingly well. Hence the vlogging to prove the system does.

How can one simply say a system doesn't work when they haven't seen said system, bit like a blind man arguing that the sky is yellow in my opinion. However, we are all entitled to our opinions, mine has back testing and lots of it to validate it. So yea the channel would be to promote the book and validate the system.

Ha, it was a bit blunt, but slim's right. Roulette has a fixed house edge and there is no way of overcoming that no matter what betting strategy you choose - assuming a balanced wheel and random distribution of course. You might be able to find a badly balanced wheel at a land casino with some ancient games that are not well maintained but online with random number generators, no chance.

The single zero on a Euro Roulette table gives the house the advantage, so if you play long enough the law of large numbers means that you will approach losing 2.7% of total bets placed over time. It doesn't matter if the system is based on bet size progression or historical numbers on the table (which are meaningless) or whatever. For this reason every betting system fails in the long run - the house edge makes it inevitable.

For example the simple Martingale was all the rage in the 1700s until people realised that eventually you have a bad run and lose all your money or the bet you need to place is over the table limit so you can't double your bet and recover your losses in a single bet. Systems could totally work if you had an unlimited bankroll and no table limit - but in that case why would you be wasting your time playing roulette?

And of course the #1 question is always this one: if someone had a foolproof betting system that enabled them to win all the time, why would they write a book about it and/or sell the system instead of going to the casinos and making an unlimited amount of money? Clean them all out with the system then write the book afterwards when you are banned from every casino and they all remove their roulette tables. I'm sure the stories in the book would be awesome and you would become a legendary figure.

As far as Youtube goes I'm pretty sure they do not allow live streaming of gambling. You may have better luck with Twitch which is a live video gaming streaming platform, as I think they do allow gambling streams so long as you mark them 18+ and comply with their regulations.

That is one of my intentions, however like I said in previous posts - The only time I've lost the game was with one casino and that was from a 'bet unaccepted' and inactivity glitch. Which I cant point fingers and accuse the Casino of anything but...

The other issue I have is my location and how my region and country seems to be blocked unless through shoddy Casinos, however I am slowly going through the suggested ones from here to find the next few Casinos to get banned from. So if I'm struggling to actually fine a Casino with a good reputation to get my 3rd banning from. So its also if I can't do it, then sure, not my ideal way (obviously I don't really want to share my system yet) but if I'm struggling to use it then maybe selling the information and getting more people to try and test the theory and strategy out, then maybe it will give the player a decent edge over the casino. It is very complicated and works losses into an advantage.

I agree with this thats why I always stipulate that the table must be live, RNG for me is questionable, although I am thinking of testing it out also. It seems fine on f2p as long as you're not on it for hours at a time and playing stupidly aggressive, but hey maybe ill use the CL chips to test out some RNG games.

Would a thread evaluating my testing be worth doing? Because I know there's thousands of strategies out there which are not worth the paper they are written on, but I think this might actually have some value behind it. And if nothing more would make an interesting read.

Loved this slim, got me giggling a bit!

Regarding streaming, I think it could potentially create a lot of backlash. While it's your strategy and may work for you, I also don't believe there's a real strategy for roulette, besides not sure if Youtube would allow it. And if someone from the casino finds the channel, you might get banned from playing there.

Beyond the simple mathematical fact that there is no strategy to turn a negative EV game like roulette positive, the entire casino streaming segment is way oversaturated. You'd be hard-pressed to find an audience beyond a few overly gullible folks.
