Kahnawake Gaming Commission License

15 replies • Last post

Trialed a new Casino today called Lucky days Casino . Yes it has the usual Curacao license system. But also a Kahnawake Gaming Commission license.😕
Is this for real and does exist legally?🙂
The Casino seems to be fine and as a promo I Played 200 spins @.20 for $20 made an additional $49.00 but lost being greedy.

So Kahanawake is a Native American tribe located in Quebec, Canada. The tribe is a band of Mohawks, and they're pretty small. They have a few casinos that they license, and they used to oversee Bovada/Bodog back in the day.

They're legit, but small and probably as effective as Curacao.

Hi all thanks for the feedback.👍
Tell me Barbadosslimm93 what does a statement Accepts players from NZ ; Not Licensed in NZ mean? 😕
Have learnt they operate an above average withdrawal limit/have Evolution gaming so adrianooo231 should enjoy and a x25 wagering .
The Curacao licensee owners come up with some great company casino Names Raging Rhino N.V.🍺

Actually Kahnawake are way more effective than Curacao and have quite a good reputation. These days there aren't many casinos licensed there as the legitimate, regulated ones prefer to have European licenses that are required to access that market.

As mentioned Bodog used to be licensed there, but at one point they told their licensees that they could no longer accept American customers and continue to hold a license there. So the casinos almost unanimously dropped their licenses and went to other jurisdictions like Curacao that don't care what they do.

It means just what it says: they allow people from NZ to play there, but they do not hold a license to operate that is issued by anyone in NZ. It's kind of a moot point because I don't believe it is possible to get a license to operate an online casino from anybody in New Zealand. A case in point being Sky City online which only accepts people from NZ but it operates under a Malta license.

As always thanks for the response.👍
I played Sky City off and on for approximately 6-20 weeks. Then moved on,
They have in my view one of the worst ever customer response systems. All bot or robotic until you get some human clown whom has no idea what you have asked customer services for emails asking How can we assist you? at least 24 hours later.💩 it is💩
FYI Sky City does have major flaw in NZ if playing live casino games like Crazy Times if you are on Crazy times itself and the casino as it does a lot stop halt block all games while they check your ip address if you are a NZ Resident.
I have been in the situation of picking a color for Crazy Games twice and the B;;;;DY 💩 ip address system kills the Crazy Time pick all together. SKY CITY DO NOT CARE LESS AS THEY CANNOT OR WILL NOT FIX THE PROBLEM
Hence I moved on to another casino.👍

FYI I have noticed a couple of Casino's of late Curacao LISTINGS have been promoting themselves and have been listing the New Zealand Gambling Commission web site ; Gambling Commission .Govt .NZ and the Internal Affairs web site as a plus I assume, that they ARE legit casino's .
I will not list the web sites listed by the casino but it would be surprising to me if real.

If they are doing that it is fake, as NZ does not issue casino licenses.

I've yet to actually hear of any enforcement action that they've ever done. Is there any history of them holding a casino to task outside of telling Bovada they had to ditch US customers to keep their license?

Yeah they gained a bad reputation years ago (before 2010 or so) for the way they handled a cheating scandal at Ultimate Bet and Absolute Poker which was one of their licensees. But in then end they dished out some multi-million dollar fines and ordered players be repaid over $20 million, if my memory is right.

After that they really cleaned themselves up and started taking things seriously in vetting operators and handing out fines for transgressions. Seriously enough in fact that they lost most of their licensees. Most of the remaining licensees now are old school Microgaming casinos that have been with them for years.

They publish annual reports detailing statistics on complaints and player self exclusion requests among other things. So they are far more transparent than most other regulators.

Curacao may be forced to do so! I believe the Netherlands is forcing them to either stop offering licenses or get in tune with their upcoming online regulation laws. If they don't they won't get funding from the country!

If that happens - and its a big if - it will kill the Curacao licensing industry. The whole point is that they cater to operators who want a licensor that doesn't care what operators do. If they start actually regulating the operators you just watch for all the casinos that start pointing to their brand new Belize / Comoros / Palau / Nauru or whatever (I'm just making up names there) licenses.

Just maybe Curacao licensing Industry have been forced or will be provided with a great incentive by the Netherlands and others to clean up their shoddy practices. 🍺

My one day home of the Bahamas has established an online gaming regulation body. I wonder if Curacao goes ass over tea kettle if the Bahamas will step up.
