How was your year in gambling?

10 replies • Last post

2020 has been such a surreal and chaotic year with many of us exposed to the COVID19 pandemic 🤮, political turmoil 💩, and climate disaster 🔥...but let's ignore reality for a moment and focus on what really matters. How did you fare at the online casinos?

1. Was it a winning year or a losing year? Or maybe you broke even?
2. Did it feel like you got lucky or were the odds always stacked against you?
3. With the world crashing and burning, did you risk more than usual or did you proceed with caution?
4. What type of games did you play the most - slots, table games, sports betting, or poker?
5. Did you discover any new favourite games amongst the rubble?

Tell us, how was your year in gambling?

I acutally haven't gambled too much this year. The bit I've played, it was blackjack. I think I'm down slightly, but maybe like $100 for the year. Nothing too bad.

I wouldn't mind playing more Blackjack but I'm too lazy to memorise the basic strategy charts 😀

Baccarat was my table game of choice in 2020.

Hi, for me, the start was bad, and it got a bit good in the middle, and then, turned worse again in the end, hahaha 🙂

played break even 2/3 of the year and at the end of the year a few nice wins..
nothing wild but the good thing is that my lifetime balance is still positive, which
is not the case with many players

First 3/4 of this year was bad. No real withdraws at all. Then November got a good hit from Money Train 2 8000x brought the books almost into the black. So roughly down about $500 for the year which is a good year compared to some others;)
Have noticed the slots have been playing different this year then other years. More volatile, less wins over time but bigger hits if you hit at all!

Happy gambling next year🤑

The first 3 or 4 months I felt like I couldn't be stopped. I won just shy of $10,000 with 1 spin on Dead Or Alive 2. From there I won around $16,000 over the next 5-6 weeks. Then almost nothing since then. Cashed out a few times but only a few hundred a piece.
Poker took a back seat this year and I played way more slots. But both a lot less than the previous year, only because I've been absolutely swamped at work. No complaints though, around 1 day off every 2 weeks. No time to gamble with that work load lol. Hope everybody has a good 2021, and wins way more than they could imagine.

Good Luck Everyone

The night I won the $10,000 was days into the pandemic lockdown way back in March or April. I was busy with work, but after work it was nothing but home, and lots of time to myself. So I spend more than usual in online gambling that first bit.

I used my winnings in part to buy a couple PS4's for a friend and myself. So the gambling quickly took a backseat lol

2020 was surely a very odd year. Gambling wise I had some nice wins but definitely more losses so that's a lesson to learn for 2021!
