Nolimit City appreciation thread

18 replies • Last post

Nolimit City is a Stockholm-based software developer known for popular slots such as Tombstone, Punk Rocker, Dragon Tribe, Harlequin Carnival and many more. Their games are extremely high quality and often feature unique themes & mechanics.

The studio has attracted somewhat of a cult following on this forum (especially in the Perpetual thread for winners) and Nolimit City is among my personal favorite developers. I have created this appreciation thread to discuss the studio, showcase their most popular games, and share the latest news - I'll be adding content periodically and welcome all comments & contributions.

What is your favorite Nolimit City game?

To kickstart the thread, here's a brand new announcement for a game called Monkey's Gold xPays which features symbol upgrades, colossal symbols, and the xPays upgrade mechanic:

Quote:

xPays delivers on a simple mechanic that allows players to collect connected symbols, as long as that symbol or other connected symbols keeping landing. Collect a full line across the reel set and lock in the row. Once locked in, xPays then upgrades the symbols in the locked rows to the next highest paying symbol in the pay table. The more locked rows you connect the more potentials is unlocked.

I really like the punk rock one based in London. It has all the hallmarks of humor, bold art, and some great features to boot.

I like Punk Rocker, Deadwood, and Tombstone. I hate their latest release, Buffalo Hunter. Their games approach the limit of volatility in terms of not being fun anymore (as in hard to sustain any kind of balance unless you get a huge win).

Unfortunately it looks like NoLimit was just pulled for US players on Bitstarz which was the only place I was aware to play them.

I love their replay feature. Its such a simple idea and makes it easy to share wins with others. I also love the high score tables in game so you can see the win potential of any game before you even play it.

Everyone seems to love Tombstone for that potential bonus round when you get both the badges and the scatters at the same time. Personally I like Book of Shadows. I know its yet another "Book of..." game which are always popular but at least this one has something a little different with the ability to play different sized reels if you want.

That's a really nice feature. Their Monkey's Gold seems interesting.

The replay feature is top notch and one of a kind. As is the slot Thor, I won 2500 on that one it was pretty epic. By far my favorite provider as well. A close second for their games is hot 4 cash, I hit the 500x wheel on a 5 dollar bet.

Have to agree with Ed on the replay feature. I think it's a very smart thing they've created and is really enjoyable and pleasant to share. When it comes to games, my favorites are Deadwood and Tombstone.

New games of NolimitCity are really great. I am playing DeadWood these days. I get a few of nice wins from the Nudge Wild multipliers.

Hmmm yes I know. I was kind of reluctant to say anything at first but thought it only fair to pass the info on.
I know its only a matter of time but will take it while I still can.

I do enjoy Nolimit City games but lately haven't had any luck with them. I also think it's important to be careful with their bonus buys as they tend to be quite expensive.

like Book of Shadows slot because it is accessible from 0.10 euro and has
lucrative bonus features or free spins.

Fun thing about Book of Shadows- I haven't had any major wins on it, but when I tried the game for the first time with fun mode- I purchased the bonus and got the girls on all reels for the max win. Such a shame it wasn't real money mode.
