Anyone played at Ocean Drive Casino? Rogue warning.

8 replies • Last post

Has anybody ever heard of Ocean Drive Casino? I know a little bit on what to look for in regards to red flags but not a lot, not sure about this one. Thought I would ask the good people at Casino Listings before I made a deposit there.

Wow. Even in a world of badly named casinos, that is a pretty awful attempt. 😂

But I'm sure I've heard of it before. Ah yes, another enquiry a few months ago.

That is a Hungarian phone number so you can assume the operator is there, which is unusual.

I'm not sure they even know what casino they are running. We can assume they are responsible for Lucky Bar Casino too. Their "licensor", whoever that is, doesn't even have a website and its domain was only registered in 2019. I can't find any evidence on the site that they are licensed by anyone at all.

Once a player receives a bonus on a deposit the palyer will be eligible to cash out maximum of x20 of the deposit until general casino balance reaches 0. All additional funds will be removed from his balance.

Watch out. Win limits on bonuses.

So it all sounds pretty mediocre so far but I decided to check out their NetEnt games anyway. The bad news is that they are running fake / pirated games that are loading from a domain staticorra.com instead of NetEnt's well known casinomodule.com domain. So I'm categorising them as a rogue casino, along with Lucky Bar Casino which appears to be them too.

The first screenshot below shows the game itself loading from the unknown dodgy domain. The 2nd screenshot shows the individual sound files loading from the same domain, proving that the iframe on the unknown domain is not itself loading the game from a legitimate source.

Further on the connection with Lucky Bar casino - when you log the page loading at Ocean Drive, some of the files being used on the site are served from luckybarcasino.com. So I'd say that is case closed on that speculation - they are certainly joined at the hip.

So I checked out Lucky Bar Casino and it does appear to be licensed by none other than AntillePhone, which is one of the Curacao license fee collection businesses (notice the lack of the use of the word regulator).

Proof once more that Curacao could not care less about players. As long as they pay the license fees any old criminal can run a casino with fake games while claiming to be "licensed".

I can't believe I've missed this, nicely done Ed, thanks for all the info. I have another one for you. I dont want to stir anything up on speculation alone so I'll send you a private message first and get your advice.

I just found today that this casino is so bad that they have lost their worthless Curacao license. Let that sink in.

To be fair its probably a case of refusing to pay the licensing fees rather than anything else as Curacao eGaming couldn't care less about player issues. But still, it really makes you wonder doesn't it?

To be honest, I never really had issues with Curacao casinos, but I know what you mean. You don't really see a casino losing Curacao license often!
