Warning: Vegas Crest's Dumb Sticky Playthrough Requirements

1 reply • Last post

I recently won a $150 bonus from Vegas Crest for placing in a VIP slot tournament from a deposit+bonus I used over the weekend (that I didn't even know I was playing in to be honest). I was confused, however, when I clicked on my balance page and saw the hefty playthrough requirements lingering from my busted deposit/bonus.

I asked support about this and they said this was correct, and that playthrough requirements only reset when the balance is below 99 cents and another deposit is made.

That means you could make a deposit using a bonus, lose it all and bring your balance down to 0 (which in my opinion and experience should reset playthrough requirements since you're completely out of those funds, right?), and then redeem your comp points (potentially built up from prior deposits without bonuses) and your playthrough from your busted deposit bonus still remains! Wha???

Does this make sense to anyone? It seems like a really awful way to handle playthrough.

It sounds whacky to me and I haven't seen it before. Just speculating here: maybe they are trying to discourage people from claiming multiple free chips in a row by making the wagering stack until they make a deposit. You would think they could make an exception seeing as it was a prize from a tournament, and your previous bonus was from a deposit.

Always play it safe! Consult our list of rogue casinos and warnings before depositing at a new casino.
