Winnings from Free Spins

18 replies • Last post

Is it normal for casinos to count the money won from Free spins as bonus? I deposited on Casino Extreme using a bonus/free spins and finished the playthrough. Had them remove the original bonus but my cashout was declined because I didn't remove the money won from the free spins. So if thats the case, if someone wins a progressive jackpot during free spins then they can't keep the money? Just never knew the money won from free spins was considered part of a bonus on certain sites.

That's very weird.

The winnings from free spins is also a part of bonus, as they claim.

So, how much did they take for the winnings from free spins?

Personally, I stopped playing there some years ago, because the all games turned to pay out so badly, after a few of free bonus withdrawals and tournaments withdrawals.

Good question, just a few things, if the spins were no deposit spins then a of casinos insist you withdraw the prize money at its cap then deposit again to withdraw above the no deposit cap, if the the bonus you took was not a no deposit bonus then I'm guessing the money won from the spins was treated as bonus money that could only be used to boost your balance and anything won with the bonus can be withdrawn but the bonus ( boost) would be subtracted when you requested the payout, in both situations the process is normally automated and you should have been able to withdraw unless the withdrawal amount was less than the minimum amount once the bonus was subtracted off your balance, hope this helps you out but it's always worth reading over the bonus terms before you deposit I force myself too these days as I hate issues like the one you currently experiencing they not worth the frustration

I used a 200% bonus with 55 free spins on Vegas Lux. The thing is I just checked my account transactions and they posted "Free Spin Deposit Approved" ($27.50) at the same time my deposit and bonus was added to my account. One reason I took the bonus was because the free spins were going to be $.50 each. 55 free spins at $.50 per spin is equal to $27.50 so I guess they add that to your bonus amount. I actually won like $70 in the free spins so I guess they just take out the amount of the free spins and you can keep the rest if it goes over that amount. I don't understand why they do it but at least now I know why it was $27.50.

I would expect them to consider money won from free spins as part of the 200% deposit bonus when calculating your playthrough, but I guess it also makes sense for them to also consider that as part of what has to be removed prior to requesting a cashout. Kinda confusing.

Yes, quite normal. Most free spins offers say that the winnings from free spins must be wagered X amount of times before you can withdraw. But if you're saying that you can't even withdraw the winnings then that sounds odd.

Most of the time the casino will not give away free spins on a progressive jackpot game. I know Casino Extreme is RTG, but some other suppliers like Net Entertainment allow free spin bonuses on their jackpot games, but you can't actually win the jackpot from a free spin. You would need to play all the free spins then play with the winnings once the free spins are finished to win the jackpot.

Im always suspicious with RTG bonuses , I remember I logged in the one day into my white lotus account and saw they had credited me with 100 free spins no deposit so I claimed the coupon and played the bonus completed the play through and wanted to withdraw my winnings of R500 only have the withdrawal rejected and money confiscated because I had claimed a no deposit bonus loyalty bonus about a year before and had not deposited again so two no deposits in a row was against their terms which I can understand but what Grates me is if I dont qualify for an offer that is in my inbox that you sent me then dont send it and if its sent dont allow me to claim if if i dont qualify , so from my experience if its an RTG casino always go over the bonus terms at least twice 😐

Thats why I ask chat if I'm eligible for withdrawal if I have free spins or a couple for free spins. Don't want to play and then be told I can withdraw if I meet the playthrough. There are a lot of rules to some of these bonus's.

Yes. Agree so much with this!

The thing is the rule is there for the casino to save themselves in the unlikely event someone wins from the free chip. What they are really hoping is that you will claim the freebie, lose it all, then decide to deposit real money. But if their systems prevented you from claiming the freebie, or they never emailed you in the first place because you would be breaking the rule, they wouldn't have a shot at getting you to deposit. So they choose to offer you a "no-win" situation because it costs them virtually nothing.

In fact I would not be surprised if many of the rogue RTGs only send these freebies to people who the know technically aren't eligible to claim them. That way they bring a bunch of lapsed players back to their casino safe in the knowledge that they will never have to pay out anything to any of them.

Yes. Never underestimate the crummy things a rogue casino will do to try to get you to put money into their site. They're the Scooby Doo villains of the iGaming world.

I'm rethinking the free spins option unless it's a lot of spins or $.50 spins. They add in the cost of the spins into your bonus so if you're lucky enough to meet the playthrough you still have to subtract the cost of those free spins. So they aren't actually free. This is mainly for Casino Extreme and Casino Brango. I know with Jackpot Capital I can keep whatever my balance is once I meet the playthrough but you need at least a $100 to cash out. These casino's don't make it easy like the Bovada sites. I guess I shouldn't have won so much off of bonus's on those sites since I can no longer use bonus's on there lol.

I love Casino Extreme's fast cashouts, but that's about it.

Most of their bonuses have max cashouts tied to them (yuck) and even their cashback has a max cashout. And their bonuses are sticky (must be removed prior to cashout).

At least Slotocash's bonuses and cashback don't have max cashouts to my knowledge, and they don't withdraw the bonus amount from withdrawals once you meet playthrough.

Slotocash downgraded me from getting their normal bonuses (too many cashouts?) so now the only ones I get is like 100% once a week. Meh.

You should try playing at a site like Playojo casino , they dont have any wagering requirements ever, they pride themselves on that, and yet, they have free spin promos daily. Videoslots.com is another one that has no wagering requirements on free spins either.

Not sure your definition of "good" but if you win you will get your money if thats what you're asking.
