Charge-back deposit

5 replies • Last post

Hello,

So I received 2 (identical) emails from Cafe Casino about my account being disabled due to a chargeback for a deposit on March 5th. I asked for my account to be deactivated a few weeks ago, not sure what the issue is. Has anyone dealt with anything similar?

Did you actually request a chargeback or did you just ask for them to disable your account?

I just asked them to disable my account since I was going through a big rut at the time. I had accounts with Bovada, Ignition, Slots.lv, and Cafe Casino. Figured I'd just keep the bovada one since it's the only one with sports betting.

Interesting. I'd have figured they would have refunded the account, rather than charging it back, as it doesn't look good for them to do so.

I wonder if they just worded it wrong or if it actually was a chargeback. At any rate, I hope you find a way out of your rut moving forward.

Check your credit card statement and see if the deposit you made on March 5th actually went through. If there is nothing on your statement or a reversal in there then the payment may have been declined by a bank or payment processing intermediary between you and the casino.

Yes CL Ed's suggestion is a good one. Shouldn't be a difficult thing to handle, so I hope all goes smooth for you.
