From the Big Island next to Aussi you fellow players will have to stop providing my email details to on line casinos 🤑 .
Countered 39 last night and at least 42 currently mainly mentioning sorry about the Covid-19 but we are open for business and here are our specials!!!!
Some casinos I have looked into and some I have played , many I have not😉 A large % are casino listed as rat bags.💩
Is this situation occurring elsewhere other than NZ
( + Can anyone tell me how many online casinos are in Ireland? 🍺)
Thus far it seems that some casinos are specifically using Covid-19 to promote gambling at home, but a lot of countries are saying that's a major no-no (and with good reason, it's a scummy thing to do).
Casinos are always heavy with the marketing and I guess it makes sense to up the amount of offers their sending now, as they want to try to draw as many fish into their nets as possible. It also doesn't surprise me that the "rat bags" (I like that term!) are at the forefront of this effort.
I personally have seen a few promotions regarding the virus and I really dislike it. I have seen a few that are tasteful (not trying to pry on people) but generally I feel like this situation has two sides- some people that are in quarantine will play (those who are self employed or can work from home etc) and some won't play at all cause their work is on a pause and they're worrying about getting real-life crucial expenses paid. So I really hope that casinos won't prey upon those who might be on a verge of having a possible gambling issue.
When the whole of Nevada (the USA gambling city) is closed down eventually withdrawal symptoms will take over and the on line casinos will come alive with new contacts I presume.
Yeah I've seen loads of emails. You're right that most of them are dressed up as "take care in these troubling times, we're still open." That might sound nice and caring but it is pretty obvious why they are sending them and it isn't altruism.
Always play it safe! Consult our list of rogue casinos and warnings before depositing at a new casino.
Post in our forums to earn CLchips which can be used to buy real prizes in our CLchips shop.
If they're straight up using Corona/covid in the promo names that's indeed scummy. They could at least jazz it up by saying "Stuck at Home bonuses" or something like that.
Still not as bad as the people buying out TP and cleaners and hand sanitizer and trying to price gouge online. Here's a big F-U to those scumbags.
I got a few free bonuses from casinos like Bitstarz, Casino Extreme, etc.
Free bonuses for existing players are not bad.
I agree with that, but last week I received a bonus where you had to use the word CORONA to get the bonus- felt really disgusted by it.
Huh, if they want to use corona in bonus code names, it should be FightCorona or something.
By now I've got more and more emails regarding this, but some are more tasteful than others- I have no problem with that as I understand people will use this as an opportunity to grow their business, just don't do it in a distasteful, irresponsible way.
Equanimous deference is a good method.
