Beware Curacao sites

6 replies • Last post

I recently played a Curacao site casino after they offered a healthy bonus. After about 2 hours playing time and up $500 playing $2-$4 bets i started to get Error notices on my game screen but still carried on until these notices started coming up all the time. i stopped playing and contacted live help but they would not answer /reply so carried on at the same game for these notices to continue coming up but change their wording to system error, bonus error, and jurisdiction error .and while this is occuring my funds are going down rapidly.
I try again to contact live assistance but nothing so send an email message and sure enough i get a reply, we will respond in 24 hours hmmm I stop playing with $20 in the system.
I receive a reply stating the casino and techs have found absolutely no problems at all next day.
Then I also get an email from another casino stating they are the brother casino of my problem casino and they also have checked every thing and their was no problems. Then they stated they run control and monitor all casinos from another location 24/7 except for time you played yesterday??
They told me they will give me $10 for the problem caused?
I Told them they are all criminals in no certain terms and I will not play another Curacao site. So overall your loss not mine.
At the same time I sent my email I A receive a notice from the WORST OF THE WORST /Virtual Casino Group/Ace Revenue Casinos """ 888 casino""" whom via email from 888 stated I will no longer be able to play any Curacao sites he controls.
A day later i tried out the new casino Volt Casino whom you people have stated is ok and found out I am locked out of this Curacao site Vegas2web or casino on line site which is controlled by Virtual Casino Group/Ace Revenue Casinos Worst of the Worst.

I am a 12+ year player of online gambling and do hope you avoid this terrible group of criminals.

ok that is a bad experience for sure but you have to keep in
mind that somthing like this or even worse things could happen
to you at any casino...no matter which damed license they hold.
it is true that most rogue casinos hold only a curacao license but
there are top notch online casinos out there which hold only a
curacao license as well.
and of cause there are casinos with a supposedly reputable license
like mga or gra which try to rook their players...i follow complains and things
in more then one casino forum and i tell you in the end the license means
nothing no matter which one it is.
the only indicator that really matters is reputation...
google the casino name+complain and if you find more then a few
serious complaints stay away

yes I understand there are maybe a couple of Curacao sites whom do not follow the trend and keep there reputations intact.
I am new to this site but have seen and experienced some terrible issues over the years and am just trying to enlighten any player i can to be suspect of Curacao sites.
I am aware many of the rogue casino shame and name means nothing to them.

Hi True player I fully understand your comments but there is not enough room in Casino listings to list all the dud Curacao sites whom are problematic.
Maybe Casino listings should place more emphasis on the the good positive casinos or list only the better casinos .
My original listing was designed to get a reaction and communications and feed back if possible .
The Curacao casinos involved are not listed as yet but part of the Cassava Entertainment group or 888 brands.

hi again freeroller now you've made me a bit curious...so what is the
name of the casino you are talking about. there is a good chance that you can find it
on casino listings blacklist😉

man that is exactly what casino listings does and compared to other casino
affiliate websites they do a great job. sure nobody is perfect and one or the other casino
rating could use an update but you have to take in mind that this is a lot of work. casino listings
is just a small site and if i am not completely wrong it is only 2 people who do all the work.

First up, we have a pretty comprehensive warning on our page about the Curacao jurisdiction which is linked every time someone writes the name of the island on here. We also regularly warn people in our reviews of how useless the so called regulator is there. Curacao licensed should be taken to mean basically unlicensed. Not all Cuaraco sites are bad but it is a big fat warning sign until we see evidence to the contrary, which can mean months or even years of professional operation.

That said, it sounds like you had a problem of a technical nature rather than anything nefarious. If you are seeing lots of errors and disconnections then its probably a server or connection issue between you and the casino's servers. Which I might add are not always even under control of the casino, especially if they are a white label operation which sounds like this one is. Maybe next time take a time out and do something else for a few hours, then come back and see if the problem is solved rather than press on through having a bad time and then thinking that perhaps they robbed you because of all the errors.

This part is wrong. 888 Casino has nothing at all to do with the Virtual Casino Group or Ace Revenue. It sounds like the casino you were playing at was a white label running on 888's platform. This means that the operator is kind of an affiliate renting a casino on a profit sharing agreement. 888 are not the greatest operation but they are not outright rogues.

You're right that there are so many shonky Curacao white label casinos out there that reviewing them all is almost impossible. On the other hand that does not mean that we should not try to warn people. A lot of casino "review" sites will tell you every casino is wonderful and a joy to play at on a yellow brick road paved with gold. I would rather have 500 reviews that reveal that 450 are not worth playing at, than only 50 reviews saying that every casino is gold. That sort of thing gives people a distorted perception of reality and a false sense of security.

If we have not reviewed it, there are many things you can do to check out a casino's bona fides before depositing there. For example:
- Check our blacklist page. There are loads of bad casinos listed there that do not have their own review page.
- Ask on a forum like this if anyone else has played there, or even request us to take a quick look at it.
- Google the casino's name plus the word "rogue" or "rip-off" or "scam" etc.
- Look for a company name on the casino's website then search on it. From your email that you sent I looked at the casino's website and found the name Highweb Ventures N.V. which I then Googled. That lead to VIP Stakes Casino which we rate as Poor (4/10).

Always play it safe! Consult our list of rogue casinos and warnings before depositing at a new casino.
