A Night with Cleo, 777 Deluxe

18 replies • Last post

Some big progressive jackpots over in Bovada (and ignition casino etc) in A Night with Cleo and 777 Deluxe. Especially 777 Deluxe, over 400k. Is that progressive truly random? I know you need to hit the bonus game, but is there a denom you need to be playing?

I'm on the same grind right now 🙂

Ignition customer support told me that a min bet will hit the progressive at the same rate as any other in A Night with Cleo. While that's not explicitly stated in either game it's safe to assume the same mechanics apply to 777 Deluxe given the similarities.

Good luck!

I won a progressive on Bulletproof Babes with a $2 spin. I know someone posted they won a progressive on a RTG slot, Fruit Frenzy with a $.25 spin. Also in the thread of big wins someone won a Jackpot on Cleo with a $20 spin. Also in the past year I've had over a thousand bonus rounds between Cleo and 777 Deluxe and no jackpot. On Cleo my biggest bonus win was 350X and that was only because I hit 5 scatters in the bonus round. 777 Deluxe you can 515X but thats hard to get. Bovada is extremely tight with their bonus rounds.

I might have triggered 400-500 bonus rounds across both games. The best multiplier I've seen was a 238x win on A Night with Cleo (multiple retriggers during a bonus) and a 235x win on 777 Deluxe (multiple 50x wins within an unusually long bonus).

At a $0.20 stake, these games burn through $150-400 per 24 hours so it's not that expensive to run them for long periods when the progressives are several times the average. I ran A Night with Cleo overnight back in November when the jackpot was $300K and broke even - freeroll! 😉

I believe there are 2 ways progressives like these work. First is the software basically randomly determines, when the jackpot resets, what its next trigger value will be, and the spin that triggers it going past that point wins it. Most games attribute a percentage of the bet going towards the progressive that scales with the bet, so statistically you'd be more likely to win with bigger bets, but that still really depends on playing at the right time.

The other way would be to not pre-determine the trigger amount but just have every spin have an infinitesimal chance at triggering the progressive, which again typically scales with the bet amount. Does it on these games? I don't see why not, though you have to imagine some people are making lots of huge-bet spins ($100 or $200) and the progressives can grow to nearly a million dollars, so I can't see that being "worth it".

I think what's really amazing about these jackpots is how frequent and the amount. 777 Deluxe (according to this site's jackpot tracker) triggers on average every 2 days and 19 hours at an average amount of $128k. What kind of play must that and Night at Cleo get to get these progressives to grow so quickly and award so frequently?

I just hit a 514x win on 777 Deluxe! It included two 25x multipliers, four 50x multipliers, and my first-ever 250x multiplier. The way the bonus played out makes me think that the overall multiplier is determined at the very start and then the game tailors the outcome of each multiplier to reach the intended target.

I was playing on iPhone and that white bar at the bottom was overlapping the win, so I added a highlight to the screenshot.

When I first started playing last year I got a 550x on that game but ever since all my 500x wins were in the 510-519 range which I find kinda weird. Don't think you can go higher than that in a bonus round. Overall on the Bovada sites any win over 200 is extremely rare which takes the fun out of it. I saw Reckless post a pic of him winning 1700x on Dragons which gives me hope but even with that game my highest is only 270.

That could very well be the case. Personally, I only play these games when there is a chance to win a bloated progressive jackpot, so I'm not really hunting these 500x wins in the first place - they're just a fun distraction.

Whenever there is a progressive jackpot in play, the base multipliers during regular/bonus gameplay must be negatively impacted. You may seldom hit higher than 500x on 777 Deluxe but at least there is a chance to hit 3,145,000x with the progressive.

Has anyone ever seen the gold 7 symbol on the 777 Deluxe bonus round? It would be particularly evil for them to show 2 and then a different color symbol, but I've never seen the gold symbol pop up so I'm assuming it only shows when you're winning the progressive.

They only appear for the jackpot, the game never teases gold 7s.

I've been playing the minimum bet with 100x autospin for some time now. Only thing preventing me from leaving it on auto spin over night is that you have to actually click on the "start arrow" to start the bonus (unlike A Night with Cleo where the bonus starts automatically.....

Yeah, I find that very frustrating too. I have resorted to running it on an iPad while I watch a movie or do something else. I'd recommend enabling the Turbo Mode if you haven't already (depending on how much money you're willing to burn chasing a jackpot).

I'm grinding away at it with $0.20 bets. It's amazing how far and few in between the wins and bonuses can be on this game due to the clustered symbols.

Even though I'm still suspicious of the claim that every bet size has the same odds. Why play it at any other bet than minimum if that's the case?

What I'd like to see is a distribution of bet sizes for the jackpot wins, or at least know how many jackpots have been won at $.02 vs say $5 or $10 or $100.

It was fun while it lasted 🙂 Looks like this was the 2nd biggest jackpot win ever for 777 Deluxe!

Congratulations to the lucky winner.
