Has Roo Casino been black banned

6 replies • Last post

Hi,
I've read some bad reviews at Roo Casino and I've had the same problems. Won $800 received $100 I had deposited my own money. Apparently there was 16c left from a loyalty bonus. My question is with all of the bad reviews why aren't they on your list of bad Casinos?

They may not be on the list just yet, as the team on the site is often buried on projects. You're right though, they do deserve to be blacklisted. I'll put in word to CL-Ed to see if we can pop them on there.

We have not reviewed Roo Casino and it is unlikely that we ever will unless the legal situation here in Australia changes. The same goes for any other new casinos that are Australian themed and/or explicitly targeted at Australians. That is all I can say publicly about that topic unfortunately.

There is another thread about Roo Casino here. There are loads of complaints but also one or two reports of players being paid after much hassle. It is clear that they are not a good casino.

Take note of the blanket warning we have for Australians in the box titled "recommended casinos" on every page of this site:

Warning: in recent times we have seen a proliferation of dodgy new casinos opened by crooks in unregulated jurisdictions, taking advantage of the fact that most licensed and regulated casinos no longer accept Australians. Players should be highly suspicious of new casinos employing Australian themes and slang as a high proportion of them are outright rogue casinos. Caveat Emptor.

TLDR version: if you come across a casino using the word "pokies", with kangaroos, koalas, g'day mate, meat pies, holden cars etc, don't play there. It isn't run by Australians and it is probably crooked.

Its one of those stereotypical Aussie kitsch culture things. And yes I've seen casinos with pictures of pie and sauce on them before.

Roo casino seems to be rogue. I would tell you that you should choose among other good casinos.

Go to this link and stick to 4~5 star casinos, then, you wouldn't have any problems.

Good luck.
