Unpaid winnings - Fairgo Casino

10 replies • Last post

I have been a customer of Fairgo Casino for some years now and recently had some winnings from a bonus and got through the playthrough amount.
I originally tried to withdraw the winnings, but found that i couldnt deposit more money while the withdrawal was in process.

I decided to cancel the withdrawal and then use a bonus to deposit more money to continue gambling. After i was through the playthrough amount i had another streak and won and lost a fair amount of money until i finally settled on withdrawing $2500.

I later received a mail that the withdrawal was denied and it was due to a clause in the rules that says you cannot play a bonus on a bonus and withdraw those winnings.

While i accept that this is in the regulations guidelines, i find this disingenuous of the casino, where at all stages you do something incorrect it informs you using pop ups etc, but where it favors the casino they do not.

How many people would do this if it jeopardized their winnings!!??

They left me with nothing but $20 in my account - this would have been the only extra bonus deposit amount i made after my initial win attempted withdrawal of $1550. During this betting i reached a maximum amount of $5000 and invested a lot of time betting and playing up and down - at no stage was i notified that my playing was for nothing.

This is a scam rule, and it isnt enforced electronically because it favors the casino.

I have asked them to release this money but they have refused.

To end they denied my winnings for a 125% bonus on $20 even though i had already won monies legitimately and deleted my entire winnings.

I am hoping to take this further to the licensing commision in Australia as i know legally terms and conditions must meet a criteria of "reasonable and fair" and that companies should at all times if possible bring this to the clients notice.

This rules is a SCAM and it renders the casino that does so much right a SCAM too

Well... it sounds very bad that they erased your totally wins...

By the rule they mention, they should leave you the initial withdrawal money...

It would be better you had just waited 48 hours pending period, or in that case, as I know, you should have discuss it with the live chat support...

A bit tricky situation....

Seems like it'd be trivial for them to implement a system that prevents you from depositing with a bonus on top of another bonus. But then they couldn't cancel your winnings should you get lucky and not pay you a dime! Ahh the state of online gaming. It's such a mess.

Its the same problem of playing prohibited games, or wagering above the bet limit for the bonus. It would be a trivial piece of programming to prevent people from breaking these rules. Yet the vast majority of casinos refuse to do so. I think we all know why...

Hi, I have a mager loss through Fairgo Casino.
This is an email i received today, after trying to withdrawing some of my winnings after playing my play throughs

Quote:

While reviewing your account, we noticed that the following of our rules and regulations were broken:

In the interests of fair gaming, there are limits on the maximum bet sizes you can place during the play through of any bonus including cashback offers. $10 is the maximum bet unless specifically stated otherwise. Betting above $10 during a bonus playthrough will result in any promotion winnings voided.

You have wagered 339 times over the max bet rule on game 5 Wishes.

Only this was not the only game i played over the time of my wagerings some of the games were only 8.80 total bets. These were my mostly played after loosing money on the 5 wishes game.

Once any of our rules and regulations is broken we would usually deny the entire payout. You are lucky today though as I have discussed your case with the Management and they have decided to make an exception in the amount of $ 2,050.00 for your account, as you are important to us and we understand mistakes happen.

The additional winnings of $ 10,366.76 has been forfeited.

Please note breaking any of our rules might lead to your winnings being voided in the future.

They took 10,366.76 out of my winnigs when i stopped playing and then my mum needed help fixing her game as it wouldn't connect. Then when i wanted to play again it was all gone $o.oo balance in my account, not $10,366.76 all gone. So as i a feeling so pissed you would agree it is so very wrong.

Mrs Me, no online casino is run from Australia. Not a single one. They are all run from overseas locations where they are not subject to Australian law. As a general rule based on our experience dealing with complaints, the more Australian themed a site appears to be the more likely it is to be a scam.

Take note of the warning specifically for Australians under the heading "Recommended Casinos" at the bottom of this and every page on this site.

Yes they did the same to me, $2500 gone from my acc. This is their little deception relying on most players not reading the t&c's like who would knowingly bet over $10 per spin if they were going to jeopardise their whole winnings. This casino gives the decent ones a bad name and what's more they hide behind their screens , wouldn't give me a pH number or an address, gutless yellow parasites, terminate their access to australia
