Suspicious RTG casinos

5 replies • Last post

Hello, guys,

I don't know why I am doing this for years, but, I found a few suspicious casinos more again... ๐Ÿ˜€

Planet7Oz and BtcVegas

Planet7Oz seems to be a part of rogue groups because their promotions are similar with those of rogue casinos..

And BtcVegas is strange... this casino provide RTG games in BTC, without all the progressive jackpots.

Please, share any experience or thoughts here ๐Ÿ™‚

BtcVegas... let me see. I can't see a license anywhere on the site, not even a worthless Curacao one.

Now take a look at those T&Cs...

This is the "we can do whatever we want because we are not accountable to anyone" clause...

Quote:

5.1) BTC Vegas Casino will act as the final arbitrator or any dispute involving BTC Vegas Casino and any other party.

This is the "make sure we don't have to pay big winners off a small deposit even if they don't claim a bonus" clause...

Quote:

6.2.3) If a player's total deposits do not exceed mB 100 the player is entitled to a maximum withdrawal of 20x the total deposit amount. Example: accumulated deposits mB 20, winnings mB 550, withdrawal request is mB 550, effective payment mB 400, mB 50 are reduced from the player's balance. Individual deposit bonus terms supersede this term unless otherwise stated.

This is the "we'll string you along and pay you in bits and pieces for months" clause, featuring the famous "player class" excuse used by many noted rogue casinos...

Quote:

6.4) A mandatory waiting period of 12 to 24 hours depending on your Player Class is required before any processing payment of winnings. During this period the player has the right to cancel his winnings. All payout requests will be subject to audit before being processed. All withdrawals are paid in instalments depending on the player class. You will be notified by email when we send out your winnings to the processor, once you receive the notification the funds will ultimately arrive in your wallet within 24 hours. Withdrawals and changes to payment instructions are subject to clearance by our finance department. BTC Vegas Casino reserves the right to pay out higher winnings over a period of several weeks.

Here is another "make absolutely sure we don't have to pay any big winners" clause...

Quote:

8.1.11) If a player claims a bonus of 150% or more on their deposit, the maximum withdrawal amount will be 5 times the deposit amount after fulfilling all wagering requirements associated with the bonus credited. The remainder of the requested withdrawal will be voided.

Wagering requirements on bonuses are huge. They are traps designed to make you lose, not fair offers ...

Quote:

8.2.1) Wagering requirements on bonuses are 40X the deposit and bonus amount before any cash-outs will be permitted unless otherwise stated. For Example: you received a 100% match bonus and deposited mษƒ 20. In this case you get mษƒ 20 as a bonus and your Wagering requirements will be (20+20) x 40 = mษƒ 1,600.

Quote:

8.4.4) Bonus restrictions: - Welcome bonuses are subject to wagering requirements: 50x (deposit + bonus amount)

They claim to be using BTC because it allows for anonymity. These Q&As are from the FAQ page:

Quote:

Can I deposit directly with my credit card?
BtcVegas is the anonymous way to play online casino games. We do not ask for any information other than what we require for verification purposes and your data is not shared or divulged to anyone under any circumstances. We pride ourselves on keeping your information confidential. Credit cards transactions can be traced to the user and that would defeat the purpose of operating a completely secure and private environment.. So we only allow deposits and withdrawals using Bitcoin (BTC).

Do I need to provide any personally identifiable information when playing at your casino?
It is not mandatory for players to provide personal information such as name of physical address, phone number etc. We only require that the player have a valid email address and verify their date of birth and geo location. In some cases players can provide these additional details however they are by no means mandatory to be able to play in the casino. In order to send you promotions that best suit your needs we recommend you send us as much information as you feel comfortable with. Your data is completely safe and secure with us and under no circumstances will it ever be divulged to third parties.

However the registration page asks for your country, birthdate and phone number, which is more than enough for them to identify you if, ask I suspect, the operator runs other regular RTG casinos. Also the T&Cs directly contradicts the claim in the FAQ that they do not require private information such as a phone number.

Quote:

6.3) All withdrawal requests will be subject to audit before being processed. It is mandatory to provide us with a valid phone number on all withdrawals over mB 100. We will then make a one-time verification call at a set time convenient for you.

Well I suppose it isn't mandatory if you lose all the time. They will be happy to let you keep playing until you have a decent win, then they will require a phone number.

So yeah, BtcVegas shows many signs of being a rogue operation. Don't play there.

Wow, BtcVegas T&Cs is really worse than anything I have seen so far ๐Ÿ˜€
How could they come up with this level of cruel T&Cs, who would think of playing here after reading it?

I really wonder which rogue group is related to BtsVegas.
Maybe a spinoff rogue casino, hahaha ๐Ÿ˜€

I am sure it is a spin-off from some other bunch of rogues. No doubt. But they have been extra careful to hide who is behind it so I'd only be guessing. Usually the T&Cs are a good indication. Most operators can't be bothered rewriting them when they open new casinos so they just copy them from one of their others. I checked a few sentences from the terms on google and they matched to various different unrelated casinos. So they have done a fair bit of copying and pasting when writing their terms.

I think the reference to "player class" is probably a big clue. That was one of the tricks that the criminals at the Netad / Affactive group used to rip people off. More recently we've seen it at another similar group called AffAlliance, which is most likely being run by people who used to work with Netad. It's a good chance they are behind this one too, but as I said before I have nothing conclusive.

That is the key point. Almost no-one reads them and they know it. The T&Cs are just there so they can say "see you agreed to this" when they shaft players later. That is what we are here for! ๐Ÿ˜‚
