Issues with Slotocash Bitcoin Deposits

6 replies • Last post

Has anyone else had issues with Slotocash Bitcoin deposits?

I made a good-sized Bitcoin deposit with them yesterday and waited and waited for it to be credited.

The deposit's exchange rate timer ran out before the deposit reached enough confirmations I guess, but typically you're credited once enough confirmations are completed. That did not, and still has not happened. Their help section says to contact support to credit your account if the transaction gets to 6 confirmations without being credited -- mine is now at 162 confirmations and support is still not helping.

I've provided screenshots of the deposit screen, my transaction, the transaction ID, everything to them, and now they're saying to give them up to 3 full business days to investigate. That's simply ridiculous for an "instant deposit" technology that I can provide ample proof of the transaction being sent and received (it's on every blockchain website in existence).

6 is a reasonable number of confirmations to require before accepting a deposit, even though many other sites credit you before that and would simply hold any withdrawals if you try to withdraw prior to the deposit's confirmation.

What if Bitcoin value drops and when (if?) my deposit is credited and converted, I get less money due to their crappy system? Ugh!

Its highly likely that SlotoCash does not run their own Bitcoin node, so your deposits are going through a third party system that then notifies Sloto when the funds come through. The three business days is likely due to having to follow up with the third party. I'll try to get in touch with someone there and ask how it works and why there would be a delay. They are reliable, I'd be shocked if they were trying to rip you off or shortchange you.

Yes they've always been reliable and timely in the past which makes this kinda surprising. Thanks for asking for some info!

I haven't yet made Bitcoin deposits in Slotocash and other RTG casinos, but at most the BitCoin deposits were delayed around 30 mins from my experience.

I hope that your issue will be solved quickly, especially when the BTC value is falling or staggering like yesterday and on.

i have not much experience with bitcoin deposits...i made around 10 deposits but the
coins are always credited after 3-6 confirmations which took between 30 minutes and an hour.
162 confirmations sound very strange to me

They credited my account today. I never expected they wouldn't given the proof of the deposit and great track record I've had with them, but it's still frustrating to wait 2 days for an instant deposit.

I'm still curious how something like this goes wrong.

They did reply to me but they asked for specific details about your account, like name and email address which I didn't have./ I responded that it wasn't so much a query about one player, more the process. I'm still waiting to hear back and I'm glad your deposit came through. I guess that at least shows one very good thing about Bitcoin - you have an irrefutable proof that you made payment on the blockchain.

Waiting for multiple confirmations is overly cautious in my opinion, especially for small transactions. It should be a simple matter to prevent withdrawal until the deposit is confirmed sufficient times. If the player tries anything shady and the deposit doesn't come through the account would just be banned and no money would be lost. I have seen casinos that accept Bitcoin deposits without confirmation which makes the transfers instantaneous. I'm pretty sure Oshi and Bitstarz for example. I'm not sure if they only allow it only once you have been playing there a while and they know you are genuine.
