"Play for Fun" any more?

9 replies • Last post

Several years ago we had the option of "playing for money" or "playing for fun or practice". I'm looking for an online casino with that option with no luck at all.
Anybody out there know if this still exists anymore anywhere?

I think Winaday & Scotland may have that option still...not been there for a long time but it's been always available before and I think those are available in US as well..if I'm not mistaken.

Yeah almost all online casinos these days have play for fun modes. If you're in the USA, I'd suggest looking at the recommended casinos like Bovada or Jackpot Capital, as I know for a fact that they offer playing for fun instead of real money.

I've been doing that when it's only about checking a particular game but... to be honest...how fun could be playing slots for fun really!? It's boring...the only fun part is probably because you're not loosing any money Wink

yeah that's absolutely what i think when i see people who play slots with "playmoney"
and i realy know some people who do that... same thing is playing poker with "playmoney"... but for me that is much more senseless because you absolutely didn't get a feeling for the game and you see so terrible moves at this playmoney tables

Yeah strange question as almost all of them still allow this.

That said the times are changing in that respect. The UKGC and other regulators are making it more difficult for casinos to offer free play games before they have verified the age of the visitor. The thinking is that they don't want kids playing the free play versions and getting hooked on the games.

Didn't knew that..but if you ask me that makes sense...probably the casinos won't be too fancy of the idea cause I guess it's a way of dragging in players who want a free shot at first to check some of the games but if it's for the good of the kids...

I still can find practice mode or fun mode in many casinos...
Or, some provide fun play just without login...

I don't think that it would be too difficult to find.

I know that Casino Heroes and Slotjoint casino still has fun play mode available. I think that majority casinos do.
