Videoslots.com is a scammer....sad!

19 replies • Last post

Unfortunately, I won approx. 4,200. yesterday. Small bet, Progressive Jackpot race. I have been a "stellar" customer for over 2 years but never won more or withdrew more than a couple of hundred. I requested 1,800. withdrawal and my account was deactivated in less than 2 hours! No excuse yet but...they will find a way to try and blame me. Very old and sad casino trick. I assumed Videoslots.com was bigger and established and therfore beyond this silly way of de-frauding people. Oh well. Please avoid Videoslots.com!! or if you play there i hope you don't win a larger amount. It is much more disappointing winning and then being told your money is forfeited than to have never won in the first place. Apparently this is a common practice for Videoslots.com I have learned recently.

Do you work for a casino? Obviously?? Yes, I was recently told that "the casino had a glitch in their issuance of battle tickets" and therefore I am not entitled to any winnings.
Of course, they will have a "rule and/or regulation" indicating that if "they/casino" make a mistake then all winnings are forfeited!! Please stop being a ridiculous Devil's advocate.
Videoslots.com stated, " Due to a technical issue in the Battle tickets, you have __________ CAD that you were not entitled to. In order to reopen your account, we need you _______ amount in question so we can deduct that from your account and open it again.
Currently, your account is play blocked so you can make a deposit and login but now place any bets."

I'm pretty sure vomvom12 does not work for a casino, I could be wrong. Either way, I'm a big fan of videoslots.com, and I have never run into any issues with them. They have released everything I've ever requested to cashout, without a problem, and in 36 hours or less every time.
Sure your situation sounds aggravating, and I'd be upset also, but terms & conditions are agreed upon by every single player, including yourself, before you can play. Just so when things like this happen, it should be no surprise, and life goes on, it sucks sometimes .
If you just pick yourself up, and carry on, I'm sure you'll end up on the opposite side soon enough.
Life sometimes has a funny way of evening things out.

I'm sad that I am reading more and more news like this. Recently VideoSlots are closing more and more player accounts without giving out proper information and I hope that this won't become a common practice.

If that's the case then that is really sad news as I always viewed them as the most ethical and trustworthy as well as fairest casino to play at , I have been with them for exactly four years now and I have never had any problems and my biggest withdrawal to date of 1600 euro was paid out in less than half an hour , I hope they remain in good standing as they have been for the last four years indefinitely

Yeah, in the past few weeks they are closing some players accounts, and quoting their own terms and conditions that they don't have to give any explanations for the reasons why. I personally haven't had any issues either so I hope it stays that way.

Ok so it sounds like they made a mistake and presumably issued too many tickets to you for their battle of the slots promo. And you won some money with those tickets that they are refusing to pay? Ok that is not good, and you're right that it always falls in the casino's favour no matter whether it is you who makes a mistake or if the casino is the one making a mistake.

But what I don't get is that if I am interpreting that email properly, they want you to deposit money to cover the difference before re-opening your account. Is that right? I think that the only way that would make sense is that you were in fact able to withdraw some money and they paid it before they realised their error. If that is the case I would thank my lucky stars and move on.

Yeah, if you got some funds already withdrawn, I'd get the heck out of dodge and find another good casino to play at. Videoslots being a scammer is fake news, at least according to what I know of them.

Being at the very top of the online casino Tower as the best or close to the best, I doubt that any company would want to jeopardize what they have worked so hard to accomplish. On top of that, they are highly trusted by most online casino players, and they know once you do something that's shady or untrustworthy, people will spread the news.
Trust is almost impossible to get back in this industry.

I am sorry to hear about your issue with Videoslots.
It seems that you got the 1st place in a Jackpot Chase, and won some more with the prize.

I understand that it was their fault to allow you in the Jackpot Chase, but you know, T&Cs overrule any issues.

They allow you to play again, correct?

I wish you greater luck one more time!!!

That's indeed a very bad experience. I don't understand why casinos don't take responsibility for their own faults.

After learning more about this situation, it sounds like somebody at videoslots.com should be held accountable for their mistake and not the player. Why can't more people speak up and take some responsibility for their actions. I love how the rules everywhere state if it's a mistake in the players favour and cost such and such company then said player must pay back any and all money. But if the company makes a mistake and costs the player money then , well as a company, we dont care enough to pay for our mistakes, too bad, so sad.

I've been on the losing side of that before and quite frankly, its bullshit.
I mess up at work, I tell my supervisor right then and there, always have and always will.

That's why I love the fact that UKGC started looking into casino T&Cs to ban some rogue terms. Casinos today are free to write anything they want and they are happy to exploit this opportunity.
