Does anyone have any experiences with Bitcasino.io , good or bad?

18 replies • Last post

I have played here off and on since they first entered the scene. I've never had much of a problem, I have deposited no issues, of course no surprise at any casino, as well as made several successful withdrawals too.

As of late, I have been bombarded with issue after issue, bugs in the games, and not just one game or provider but spread out across many, including Bitcasino.io very own promotional games and offers. They claim they have taken the proper steps in rectifying all issues that has come up and I had no reason not to believe them until today.

They have a promo wheel where every player each day gets one free spin, cool. So I tried to follow the link in the email, it brought me to a page full of numbers, letters and symbols, so I took a screenshot and shared with live chat, carried on to my daily spin, and it says I have zero spins left, so again back to live chat.
Long story short, hours later, they outright told me that I used it already and I can try again tomorrow. Again? I never spun the first time. They say I used it and won nothing, up until that point I didnt even know what the wheel looked like.
They are telling me i did something that I know for a fact is absolutely untrue.
I kept the screenshots of everything, all the emails and chat transcripts just in case I may need them later. They didn't take anything of mine, but with so many issues as of late, the red flags are everywhere.
I'll include a screenshot of the page I referred to above. It's not the first time I've come across this, its popped up many times this past week.
I'd like to hear anybody's experiences here, good or bad.
Sorry CL-Ed, I'm almost positive this casino's on your blacklist or rogue casino list.

Yeah, I've deposited a couple of times there myself a couple of years back but never managed to reach a withdraw so can't really say anything about it in that regard anyway...

I was wondering about this casino.
I opened my account some years ago, but didn't play there because of many bad ratings.

Your case makes me turn away from this casino.
I hope that you will get the bonuses.

Yeah they were caught running fake games a few years ago and they have been on our blacklist ever since.

yea I dont think you can ever really recover your reputation after being caught pulling such a sneaky move personally and any casino doing that cannot and should not be trusted

That's exactly our thinking. Even if they remove the fake games how can you trust a place with your money if they have proven to be willing to rip off players with tampered games, not to mention the game suppliers that they aren't paying for use of their games?

I guess they could always rely on a newly registered users...by the time I've deposited there I've had never heard of their reputation...in fact I've discovered it just now reading this thread.

I knew they were on CL's blacklist, but I registered with them when they first opened. Made several withdrawals via BTC, with no issues ever, so I kept playing there.
Not until recently when so many issues have been piling up so fast have I experienced any issues, to my knowledge things were running as expected.
That doesn't mean I wasn't being cheated, I could have been, no clue. But I'm going to take my leave of them and walk away, too many stories, a bad rep, now my own experiences on top.

Hey WaroftheGods,

Firstly, we’re really sorry that you had such an experience with us!

The Wheel of Wonders is a totally new feature which unfortunately did have a few bugs, all of which were fixed within hours of being reported but even still were super frustrating for our players.

If you’d like to give us another chance, please PM me with your username and I’ll make sure to look into your account and see how we could make it better for you.

With regards to the ‘red flags all over the internet’, it’s hard to validate all the accusations however we’ve made a concerted effort recently to resolve as many as possible.

Unfortunately, five years ago when we first started some of the games were brought to our attention by the community and as soon as we were alerted to it we disabled them and dealt with the situation. Since then we’ve gone on to receive multiple award nominations for our casino, plus just this year, we were recognised as one of the world’s top 50 gambling companies in the EGR Power 50 list.

Cheers,
Karl

Bitcoin fees should not be anywhere near that high at this time. They can vary depending on demand at the time of your transaction but normally they are no more than a few cents.

Yeah so you have a wallet, and that wallet has addresses that you send bitcoins from, and you can give other people an address in your wallet to send bitcoins to you. I don't use the wallet app you are using but usually you can set how high the fee is when you are sending bitcoin.

Transactions are processed almost instantly but they are "confirmed" every 10 minutes on average when a new block is created, which means they are written into the blockchain and can't be changed. However there is a limit to the amount of transactions that can be processed in every block and generally the transactions paying the highest fees are confirmed ahead of those paying lower fees. So it is possible to pay more to guarantee your transaction is confirmed and included within the next block.

In times of high demand this can force the fees up, but they have been nowhere near $15 for a long time. At the moment I can see that you would get a transaction in the next block by paying a couple of cents. Are you sure it was the bitcoin transaction that took the fees, or perhaps it was the casino skimming on the exchange rate in converting btc to dollars or something?
