Hey guys,

Have you notice that Mega Moolah Jackpot of Microgaming is 8.3 million Euro again?
It is roughly around $10 million... Wow...

This Jackpot gave a few small and middle Jackpots 🙂 like 3~4 million a few time,
then the Jackpots seem to skyrocketed since the last one 🙂

Let's see how high it goes up again right after the epic one.

I've never been near a jackpot, but when I see in this forum the amount of jackpot, I must login and lose some money. Clean adrenaline!

Oh, it was a bit earlier than my expectations 🙂 I thought that it would grow up to like 22 million.

Wow a lucky winner in the beginning month of the year.

I've read story and expecting more details of the winner (if he's willing to reveals something at all of course) but like I said there too this hit technically shouldn't be a record breaker.

Yeah its not a record based on the amount it dropped. I'm guessing it was won in Canadian Dollars... would any member posting in this thread like to tell us anything? 😉

Ah, if it is a Canadian winner, I hope that it is him 😀

By the way,

Could anybody tell why the Mega Moolah Jackpot is at 8.5 million again? 😀

Hey Eljuno, my gameplay with Mega Moolah looks the exact same as yours sounds, I stopped playing it for awhile there and cashed out lots, I started playing it again here and there, and haven't cashed out once since.

Yeah it wouldn't be a record even if it was in $ but in Canadian Dollars the sum would go down even further...not that this Canadian punter would of complain about it I guess 🙂

You guys noticed that the Mega Moolah is at 8.5m right after the 20m Jackpot trigger.
I was so much wondering how it could be possible.

I am guessing based upon CL-Ed's explanation about the actual Jackpot payment.

CL-Ed wrote:

When Mega Moolah is won in a currency other than Pounds Sterling the amount of credits on the meter are converted back to Pounds and deducted off the total. So for example if it was won by someone wagering in USD it would have dropped by about £15m at current exchange rates. Seeing as it only dropped about £12m we know that it was won in a currency that is worth less than USD and Euros for example.

In GBP, the Jackpot went up to £20m. But the actual payment dropped about £12m, whether it is Canadian dollar or other currencies.

Therefore, the Jackpot is reset at £8m (= 20 - 12)...

Last year, there was a similar case (at least once as I remember).

Do you think that my guess is correct or not ? 🙂

If it's already back at 8mill I guess you're right coolsongss....that seems to be quite fair approach by Microgaming not just getting the difference of the currency rates themselves which is quite significant this time.

Hi there,

I just thought about it again, and found out that my guess above is needless 🙂

Probably, CL-Ed figured out 12m from the 8.5m reset. He just didn't mentioned it in this comment.

If WaroftheGods hit it big, I'll take a Tesla and a Lamborghini, but if you don't want to do that, I'll take just the Tesla.

Ha-ha..you're too modest of a guy Slim..I'm afraid there won't be too many spending money left for the poor guy if he buys you all of those..these are Canadian dollars after all 😉

And beside he still doesn't confirmed it he had won it,although we know it should be him 😉

This is exactly right.

Microgaming jackpots are denominated in Pounds Sterling, but you win the same number of credits in whatever other currency you may be playing in. So if the jackpot is £20m and you are playing in $, you win $20m which is then converted back to pounds and deducted from the jackpot.

The only time it resets all the way back down to its starting value is when someone wins it while playing in pounds.

When I checked yesterday $20.5m CAD converts back to about £11.9m pounds so that is why I guessed that it may have been won by someone in Canada. If it was won by someone playing in Euros or USD the jackpot would have dropped by more.

Hi WOTG, people here guess you have brought the biggest part of the megamoolah jackpot, because of some identification that I feel is 100% true that the winner comes from where you live, and do you know that we are all here waiting for your exclusive statement directly so that we can take anything from you, haha LOL ... # justkidding

I used to get some nice wins.
It is getting more difficult to win from Mega Moolah ISIS these days.

The bonus game is rare to get, huh 😢

I just found a few screenshots that I posted in the winning thread before 🙂

The wins are too small that I felt like my balance just get drained.

Regarding the bonus game, it became really hard to get. Maybe, over one year or two, there were a lot of new players like me, a low roller 🙂

That is why the bonus game did not come to me as often as before.

Isis is a notoriously high variance game. You lose a lot most of the time then occasionally you might get a good bonus round with the multiplier to have a big win. So it's not the best choice if you want to play for a long time.

You mean not a good option compared to the other Jackpot chasing games or generally as a slot?

Probably both I guess 🤔

I used to play Mega Moolah the animal version, the game was felt a bit more giving than ISIS.
But, the actuall RTPs of both games are the same as 88% or 88.1%..

I got more small winnings from animal version over a longer time, so that I feel it is better than ISIS.

As a jackpot game. Because your money is not going to last as long to give you as many shots at the jackpot due to the game's extreme high variance.

I don't know why I keep this post updated, but the Mega Moolah jackpot went over 12 million during weekend : )

It reset at 8.5m, so it is now 3.4m up

Do you think that this time will be over 20m again ? 🙂

That's a tough question.

It's been hit on average every 9 weeks after a check but the last two record breakers come after a longer spells (logically, it needs time to raise as much),like 14 and 18 weeks in between the wins spells so if I have to guess it would be a rather hit this time.

But that's just a guess...and it's enormous amount collected in it already so... 🙂

Now the mega moolah is growing back very quickly. It seems very possible that a new record will be solved in a situation like this. I always think how they can grow quickly. I will say that they look like monsters

It just hit again about 45 minutes ago for a bit over $12.9m. Based on the drop amount and exchange rates I'm guessing the player was playing in USD or similar valued currency.
