Mega Moolah Jackpot

98 replies • Last post

Hey guys,

Have you notice that Mega Moolah Jackpot of Microgaming is 8.3 million Euro again?
It is roughly around $10 million... Wow...

This Jackpot gave a few small and middle Jackpots Smile like 3~4 million a few time,
then the Jackpots seem to skyrocketed since the last one Smile

Let's see how high it goes up again right after the epic one.

Good point, it really is pumping again.

In the old days you could only play it at casinos that used Microgaming's Viper installable software. But now with all these multi-provider casinos you can play the jackpot at every second casino so they must have far more people playing it than they used to.

Hi, CL-Ed,

I have just checked the RTPs of Mega Moolah series. All of them have only 88.0% or 88.1%.

So, it is not a good idea to play this game for game wins Smile

The math says you're right, but tell that to the punter who hits the Mega Jackpot! lol

Well the RTP increases with jackpot size and has to be a point where that RTP is above 100%. But still the chances of you hitting that jackpot to get that 100%+ return are incredibly slim, so you're right, they aren't smart games to play for someone looking for value for their money.

I'm probably going to ask you a very stupid question Ed...but I'm going for it anyway so..

If the RTP breaks above 100%...is this would mean that the house 'd in fact loose money from the total number of spins punters made during that particular frame of time?

No idea of how long that could eventually lasts but it seems somehow logical to me...

No it won't mean the house loses money because the jackpot is funded by contributions from other players, not the casino.

All it means is that if you added up all the possible payouts for a spin it would work out that on average you would expect to earn more than you put in by playing the game. But of course that relies on the massive chunk made up by winning the jackpot which is only a slim chance, so while the RTP may be in your favour, the variance is not.

Mega Moolah went over 10 million Euro again during weekend.
It is going to be another unusual(?) Mega Jackpot.

Good luck, CL members Smile

I think that I saw the news the the previous Mega Moolah Jackpot was triggered with the minimum bet of 0.25 pound by a UK soldier...

There used to be some information on the triggering bet size of Mega jackpots, and the bet size was quite various from below $1 to $20~$25 etc.

Is this the same case when a new world record was set and the jackpot was ~ €19M

Santa working for us? No way. That man answers to no-one! Wink

But he's a generous guy and it looks like he loves Casino Listings so I've got my fingers crossed that he wins a big one too. Based on where he lives I'd expect him to win a Net Ent jackpot like Mega Fortune though, as every second win seems to go to a Scandinavian.

ha-ha, yeah I'm not sure anyone from Greenland has ever won that though Wink ,
Santa would it be the first probably, when we have in mind there's just like 57 000 of population there it's a tough ask really.

Wow, the things a guy can learn around here, after reading everybody's conversations even from a month back, it's no wonder I seem to lose a lot more than I win on Mega Moolah, it's because I definitely do lose more lol. I dont think I'll be playing this game nearly as much as I have in the past.
I'm going to stay away from it for awhile and see if maybe I can find myself on the winning side of things a little more often. I'll play other games in replace of Mega Moolah, kind of an uncontrolled experiment lol

Interesting side question here, did something change with the Mega Moolah to get it to the point where it grows this big? I know it's always paid large, but it seems the last few times it's really gotten up there.
