Random jackpots during tournaments

12 replies • Last post

I hit a random jackpot during a tournament on Slotocash the other night and was told I don't actually receive any payout. Apparently it just boosts your score. It's the first I ever heard of this. Pretty disgusted with Slotocash now!!!

I can understand them not paying you as you're playing with tournament money. I think that is fair enough.

But I'd be interested to know if the jackpot is the same in real money and tournament mode on the same game. If it is then they should be returning the funds to the jackpot for people playing the game with real money.

It immediately started over at $1000. As I continued to rebuy, it never reset back to jackpot amount. The bad thing is, I chatted with 3 different people from Sloto support and revived 4 different answers. Was told “yes” money would be deposited after tournament ends...then told it takes 24-48 hrs after tournament for it to appear... then told it’s just a point booster. Nobody seemed to know exactly how the random jackpots work.

On a similar topic, I've been wondering myself how RTG casinos handle progressives won by people playing with max cashout bonuses. Obviously they're not going to get the money, but I also don't think the casinos are going back and restoring the progressives. That is basically illegal in land-based casinos here (for example, if they remove a machine off the floor with a progressive, they have to transfer that amount to another machine since it has been built up by player contributions).

Smergucz, what game was it on? How much was the progressive?

Yeah we've raised that exact point before with casinos and basically just got a shrug. This is what having no regulation gets you.

Do you mean that Slot Tournament ?
The tournament you bet with $100 per spin to get higher scores ?

I think that you got into the paid tournament to be confused about the scores and real money.

I used to play RTG freerolls here and there many times, and got many random Jackpots, too 🙂
But, I never thought that it was my real money....

Maybe it's just my two cents, but why offer tournaments on games that have a progressive jackpot? I mean I understand the casino by not paying the jackpot won in a tournament but I also understand the massive frustration.

Hi, Smergucz,

Maybe. you were a little confused about the freeroll/paid tournaments and real money slots.

In tournament, the Jackpots or even bigger wins only add up to your scores to rank in the list.
If you luckily got a few big wins and Jackpots, you would be high in ranking and get paid the prizes like $5, $10, $25, or more...

Cheer up!!!
