Silver Oak is a rip off!

9 replies • Last post

I won a few thousand on Silver Oak February 5. I requested a withdrawal and did not feel comfortable giving out my bank account number so I requested a $1000 check. In early March, they finally approved an $800 withdrawal. I asked for them to make the other $200 available for me to play with but they would not. Okay...so send me my $800 check. Yesterday, April 30 mind you almost 3 months later I received a check for $775. BUT, I got an email first (see below) warning not to call the bank. THAT is not a good sign! So I tried depositing it in my bank account and my bank would not accept the check! Said it was suspicious! Do NOT waste your money here! I have had AWESOME luck with Mandarin Casino. They literally pay within 3 days!!!
Thank you for choosing Silver oak casino, we are happy to assist you.

Yes Silver Oak are a well known dodgy casino that have been on our blacklist for years. That said, you should be able to contact them and explain what happened and ask to be paid another way. That will probably take them another 3 months.

Always play it safe! Consult our list of rogue casinos and warnings before depositing at a new casino.

Yeah, there's a ton of scammy sites that cater to Americans. It's due to the fact that the market is unregulated in most areas, and players then have to go offshore. Some of these sites are okay, but some are bad (Silver Oak). That's why review sites like this one are important.

Thanks for what you do. I have had excellent luck with Mandarin Casino, one of Genesys casinos. Twice now I have made a withdrawal and in both cases the money was in my account within 3 days.

Ah, yes. That is a pretty sweet casino. I've had a couple payouts from Mandarin Palace come through in the past. I definitely like them.

It is not good that this scams are still running and ripping off players.
I am sorry to hear about your case.

It is interesting to see their full message regarding the check.

It says a lot doesn't it?! And they keep sending me emails and texts no matter how many times I tell them to leave me alone. What I don't get is that casinos like Mandarin Palace, that pay right away, ensure that I will be back there on a regular basis. Why entice customers to come in and then make them mad? When I asked Silver Oak customer service about that I was told they had been in business for ten years and had many happy customers! Ha!
