Hello! Give me advice please. I'm going to work for two years from the firm in Australia. I live in Poland and use to play in a few online casino. I'm afraid that in Australia not all sites will be available to me. Australia is far! In which online casinos of Australia can I play with pleasure?
Hi Zatra, your choices are going to be very limited compared to what you are used to now. In the last year most properly licensed and regulated casinos have closed to Australians. This is because the Australian government declared that it was going to try to enforce the laws that they have had in place against operators for over a decade, that everyone ignored during that time.
The law is odd: it is illegal for an operator to allow Australians to play on their site unless they are licensed in Australia, and no casinos are licensed. But it is not illegal for a player to play at a casino that will let them. So you cannot get into trouble for playing, but the operator of a casino could be in trouble for allowing you to, but probably only if they ever came to Australia or tried to do some other business in Australia.
Its the all too common dumb approach of governments of trying to use old world national boundaries against the open, global nature of the internet. All it is really doing is driving players towards grey market casinos that operate without regulation. The biggest winners: rogue casino operators that we have seen open up Australian themed casinos to catch players looking for new casinos. Complaints have sky-rocketd, payments are slower and more irregular, and players are worse off, with no avenues for support in case of disputes, and more open to being ripped off by rogue operators.
If you want to see what your options are going to be like, click your country flag up the top of the page and change your setting to Australia.

Ah sorry, once you change your country preference to Australia, go to the list of all of our casino reviews and you will see which ones accept Australians.
Sports betting is fine, though you will have to get an account with a bookmaker that is licensed in Australia. This includes companies like Bet365, Betfair, Ladbrokes, CrownBet, Sportsbet and a few others.

Hi, Zatra, good luck on your bettings in World Cup.
I would go to land casinos if available, too
