" Your session has time out " from microgaming

8 replies • Last post

Hello, all,

I am one of the fans of the slot game, and one of them is the microgaming slot, I love the kind of games made by microgaming because quite a lot and very competitive, I'm sure everyone in this forum is a person who likes microgaming game slot, but there are some problems that I often experience and to this day I do not know what causes the occurrence of technical problems such as notification "Your session has time out",

Though in theory I have never set the time in playing with a certain time limit, is there an explanation about this and how I solve the technical problem? , because I once tried to ask this to the casino site concerned and they can not at all or not even knowing technical error like this,
Thank you

Hi, it is not about the time that you can set yourself like the daily deposit limits, etc.

I don't know much, but, there seem to be connection delays between the game server and your computer.

Various issuses can cause the problem problems.

Do you play Microgaming slots only in one casino?

Do you have the same timeout errors in other casino too?

Yeah, timeouts happen either because you don't spin for so long, or the connection between your computer and the server was dropped. Happens to me from time to time.

No coolsongss, I play microgaming in some casinos, either microgaming based only or sites that have varied providers, but I sometimes also experience that kind of thing elsewhere.

Is there a way to get rid of such problems,

So you also experience as I experienced barbadosslim93 ,? But a little disappointed for me because when I try to reload such technical error it still happens, so usually I try to go back the next day

When you connect to Microgaming's server to play a game, the server allocates you a "session" which means it stores some info about your game on its server. Every time you spin or click something in the game your computer sends a message to Microgaming's server along with a session identification number so that the server knows which session is yours, so that it can correctly deduct the cost of spins and allocate winnings.

Server resources like memory, disk space, and CPU time are not infinite, so sessions are usually automatically timed out and cleared if you don't do anything for a defined period of time, like 20 or 30 minutes. That is because the server assumes that you stopped playing and it doesn't need to keep track of your game any more.

So you could be seeing this message for a number of reasons:

- You stopped playing for a while then came back and tried to start again where you left off, but in between your session was timed out and cleared by the server.

- You cleared your cookies or cache on your browser and your computer lost the session identifier so it could not tell the server which session was yours.

- The server has a problem, was rebooted, or something on the server was reset, which cleared out all the stored sessions. So when your computer sends its session identifier over the server has nothing to match it to and it assumes it must have been timed out. If you are seeing these errors without taking a break from the game or clearing your cookies, then this is the likely explanation and if so there is nothing you can do about it.

I was once told by customer support via live chat that part of the reason was for security reasons, sometimes your Wi-Fi location gets bounced around a bit, showing the server you're playing in a different town, city or even country. I don't know how much of that is truth but I do know I've had casino's boot me out in an instant because they say I'm playing in a restricted country, but in actuality I'm still at home in Canada , I'm shown playing from USA when I'm not there at all.

Maybe what you say fits in with what I experience, as I often experience "session time out" with casino sites operated by local agents, and I find the game to be more vulnerable and sensitive to network interruptions or internet connection stability, thanks warofthegods for your good feedback, ..
