Ignition Casino opinions please...

1 reply • Last post

I have been playing at Ignition Casino since October 2017....and here are my pros and cons.

PROS:
Can reach customer service via live chat or phone 24 hours a day.
Fast bitcoin deposits and withdrawals.

CONS:
Not regulated or licensed by any gaming commission.
Does not list RTP for any slot games.

I have notices a difference in Ignition Casino slots since 2018 started, as the slots RTP seems to be set around more like 65%-70% then the 97% they claim each slot game's RTP is set too. I am a seasoned slot player and deposit a lot of money, and I think for 2018 I am down over 80%, which is mathematically very improbable if the RTP is set at 97%. I am not saying I need to be up, as I expect the casino to always be up but to be down this much has never happened to me before.

Please let me know what you think of Ignition Casino. i just learned that they are not regulated anywhere, though the chat rep claims they are registered (please see attachment) at the Curacao eGaming but NO where on their website is the logo for this or anything else proving this is true. I have emailed Curacao eGaming, but have not heard back yet.

Do any other Ignition Casino players feel that something is up here??

Thank you in advance.

Ignition is part of the Bodog / Bovada group. We have them marked in our database as not being licensed anywhere. They used to be regulated by Kahnawake but the KGC terminated the license of all casinos that continued to accept American players. I think that happened maybe 18 months ago, if my memory is correct.

They may be licensed in Curacao but if they are, they aren't providing any proof. There are a couple of different licensing bodies there, including a company called AntillePhone and another called Curacao eGaming. They require their licensees to put a verification seal up on their sites that link to a page on their servers detailing the company name. And none of the Bovada sites show this info.

However, a Curacao license is effectively no better than being unlicensed as the authorities there just use it as a money making exercise rather than a legitimate attempt to provide any sort of regulation or enforcement of good conduct. This line the chat operator gave you is laughable:

Quote:

They are well regarded for being strict, fair, and diligent in providing licenses and regulating the industry.

Personally I think that they are poorly regarded for being lax, lazy, and too generous in selling licenses, and doing nothing to regulate the industry.

Absolutely anyone can get a Curacao license if they stump up the cash and the authorities do nothing to help players with disputes or enforce any regulatory standards on their licensees. So really, whether they do have a Curacao license or not is all a bit of a moot point.

All that said, all we can go on is the conduct of Bovada and their related casinos and what we have seen over the years has been pretty good, all things considered. They are among the best when it comes to paying U.S. based customers quickly and without fuss. In addition, when we released our investigation into Betsoft's crooked progressive jackpots, they quickly removed all Betsoft's games from all of their sites and redistributed the accumulated jackpot contributions to other games. On the other hand, many other casinos still offer these games to players today despite knowing that they are crooked.

I can't really comment on the slots RTP as that can be notoriously difficult to get an accurate read on without millions of spins worth of data. My best advice is to follow your gut and if you feel that way, better play somewhere else, because after all playing slots is supposed to be fun.
