RTG Casino advice

9 replies • Last post

Hi all

Just would like your opinion on something? I have been playing at RTG online casinos for a few years now and i have won and lost at these casinos. But i am
starting to get concerned now because i have been noticing a few issues.

When you play with maximum payout bonuses your balance goes up very quickly then when you have reached your play through requirements your balance starts to drop drastically or if you play without a bonus and start winning very big suddenly the game freezes and a pop up appears unable to contact server yet you logged into the casino then when you go back into the game no surprise you start losing something serious. This prompted me to test a theory or suspicion i had but at the same time costed me allot of money in the process.

While playing at the casinos i open both my temporary folders and my task manager. I found something strange happening in the background. When you play with a bonus code in my task manager two instances of com surrogate appears at the same time and you start winning very quickly then when you have reached your play through amount it disappears and you start losing rapidly when you reach a minimum balance suddenly it reappears and you start winning again for a few spins then disappears then you lose till you have lost everything.

My second observation when playing without a bonus and you start winning big suddenly in your temp folder 6 or 7 different temporary files pop up starting with nsu.... then immediately you see a single com surrogate file pop up in task manager which means something/file is being accessed or changed and like clockwork you start losing. This i have noticed while playing at some of the rtg casinos. On the other hand at one or two of the casinos this does not happen and you regularly win.

Has anyone noticed the same.

I think it's just superstition, all games will wipe out the balance if playing for a long time. and most Rtg casino have a lot of playtroughs, it very hard cause Home has the advantage to win.

I agree with you bossulo , the longer you play for, the bigger the house advantage gets. With RTG slots, you can spin those reels so fast it just eats up your bankroll very quickly. I stay away from those unless it's a no deposit bonus usually.

The temp files on your local computer would be completely unrelated to a hypothetical "casino death switch". The casino's servers are the ones that decide whether your spins win or lose via their random number generator (RNG). The RNG runs completely on their servers, not on your local computer. This is to prevent you being able to hack the casino software on your own computer to make yourself win.

I heard a rumour once that Realtime Gaming allows its operators who franchise or purchase the casino software the ability to adjust the RTP whenever they feel like it and apparently it can also be done easily by the operator , I dont know if this is 100% true though as it was just a rumour I had heard ☕

I'm sure RTG offers their games in different RTP variations, just like physical slot machine manufacturers. I guess it's technically possible to change something on-the-fly but I don't get why a casino would need to do this. They know they have to balance profitability with allowing wins to keep people playing there, so I don't think theres a benefit to them switching between payouts day-to-day really.

We know that RTG slots have configurable payouts. Here is an old data sheet for their Three Stooges game that shows right down the bottom that it had settings for 91%, 95%, and 97.5%.

The question is how much control does an individual operator have over these payouts and how easily can they be changed? I've read in the past a casino operator claiming that they have to file a request to RTG to change the settings and it can take a couple of days to take effect, and that most operators just run with the standard middle setting of 95%. Who knows whether that is still the case.

for me the random number generator (RNG) at online casino games like slots and table games
like black jack is a fairy tale...

first of all... i played a lot of online poker over the last few years and i read a lot about the never ending
storry / discussion : is online poker rigged ? do providers manipulate the rendom number/card generator to provoke more aktion at the tables...?
and the answer is no...providers like poker stars ,888 poker don`t have to do that they made so much money by collecting tournament fee and rake for every singel pot at cash games.
and trustworthiness is so importened at online poker...so why risk that..ones it is gone it they will never get it back !!

but online casino are a totally different business. they have a budget and have to work with that.
big game providers have 10,20 or more games with huge progressive jackpot ...some with over
millions of dollar/euro. some providers have over 100 slots and casino games so they have to
control/regulate the pay outs of this games and that is why it could not be totaly random...
don`t get me wrong...i don`t know that for sure but that makes totaly sence..

only to give you a small example:
if you winn a big amount of money at a slot game why you don`t winn anything for the next 20-30 or
40 spins when it is totaly random ? that's 99% of the time in my experience

and at table games like black jack...come on..
it is a joke how many times the dealer get cards from ten to ace and of cause black jack !!
and you get 80% of the time these damned trouble cards
so if i wont to play some black jack online i play it only at a casino with a live casino feature
and i can see the dealer...
sure that could also be manipulated but not so easy then at the other black jack games.

only my experience
cheers

hey there coolsongss i played in a lot of RTG casinos when i start playing slot games
cause of the huge numbers of no deposit bonuses around and imo the best ones are:
Silver Sands Euro Casino
i claimed a no deposit bonus played it through and they pay me the money whithout
any bla bla..and whithout a deposit

the south african RTG casinos Springbok & Thunderbolt are also nice...
here you are playing with southafrican Rand (ZAR)
the cool thing here is the minimum dep. of only R 25 which is aruond
$2.and Springbok casino give you 2 free bonus on each month R250 and at the end of the month R1000 that is over $100 free bonus money to play with

and the lowest spin to make is R0,25 ($0.021) and so you are able to play the expensive jackpot games like: Naughty or Nice,Return of the Rudolph or Rudolphs Revenge...
