Beware of Ignition Casino/Poker Fraud/Scam

4 replies • Last post

Hello, everyone I just recently joined casino listings. I would like to share a recent experience I had with Ignition casino that will hopefully maybe save some new gamblers some grief. First of all I'm no stranger to online gambling and have been doing so for 15 years and never been scammed out of winnings. Well recently I joined Ignition casino because they have a Poker room as well. I heard that they are closely affiliated with Bovada so decided to give them a shot. I just recently won 600 Dollars playing Keno and decided to try a withdrawal. I had already sent required documents so I knew that wouldn't be an issue. So to make a long story short after about 3 weeks I recieve a Canadian check via courier, and promptly deposited it, and that was on the 8th of January. So today I log in to my ignition account and noticed they had credited 600 back to my account. I immediately knew what they had done, and of course they told me the check was returned because of a printing error on the check, yeah right!. What a scam. Now they want to pay me through Bitcoin. I gave them my bitcoin address, but seriously doubt I will ever see my winnings. I just wanted to share this to maybe save any new players some unnecessary grief. In 15 years of online gambling this scam shack is the worst i've ever seen. I also contacted the kanawakee gaming commission and guess what, ignition casino voluntarily terminated their license with them in 2016. The sob's aren't evened licensed as far as I know, lol. PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS FRAUD SITE.

That stinks, soldier. I have had nothing but positive interactions with Bovada and Ignition in the past. With Bitcoin, they should pay you nearly instantly. Do let us know if you get your money.

Thanks for the response. Normally I would be somewhat optimistic, but the fact they would give me such a blatant lie on why they returned the check leads me to believe this site is a complete fraud. They told me there was a printing error on the check they didn't discover until later, I mean really that's pathetic. I have read numerous other complaints on this outfit lately as well. I'll keep all of my forums updated, thanks.

I don't play in Bovada and Ignition because they don't accept me due to jurisdiction.

Thing is that BTC is going down fast with a few weeks.
So, they want to give BTC instead of USD before it goes down more, as I think.

I can't be sure what the reason is that the cheque failed, but the fact that they put the money back into your account suggests to me that they are trying to do the right thing by you. Believe me, we've helped countless people with bounced cheques or "disappeared" payments over the years.

Bitcoin fees are back down again after the backlog of the past few weeks and you should be able to to be paid quickly via that method. Please keep us updated.
