Fair Go Casino

19 replies • Last post

So, today out of the blue I receive a letter (yes snail mail still exists) from Fair Go Casino inviting me to join.
The letter head has a Australian themed presentation complete with the map of Australia and colored in red and green.
The letter states that this casino is ONLY available in Australia and throws "aussie-isms" like "fair go" and "fair dinkum" at you which to me seemed cheezy considering the postmark on the letter originated from Germany of all places.
On quick inspection of the site I find games that I have never seen before and I have been playing online slots for a few years.
The games however all look like copycat games like Immortal Romance called Eternal Love and another like Frankie Detori in this casino is called Derby Dollars.
Long story short, all the graphic for the games look like spin offs of games already out there under different providers.
I havent had a long hard look around this casino but am wondering if anyone has come across this casino or if there are any reviews on this casino.
Always on the lookout for something new BUT am super wary when pengiuns try to sell ice to camels...or in this case Germans trying to sell Australia to Aussies.........just sayin.......

You are right o be super wary. A lot of good casinos are closing down to Australians due to potential changes in the law regarding enforcement of penalties on operators of casinos. So have a guess which sort of operators are now opening Australian themed casinos to capitalise on the gap in the market? Yep the dodgy Aussie themed casinos are popping up like weeds.

This one is a RTG casino which is run by a company called Deckmedia, who I think started in England, not Germany. They have a reasonably good reputation amongst American players for running casinos such as SlotoCash and Miami Club Casino (probably where they got your details). However if you're expecting the standard of games and payout speeds that you are used to you're in for a big disappointment. RTG games are ok but not a patch on the likes of Microgaming, Net Entertainment, Quickspin, or any other number of well known game providers that you are probably used to. Payments are likely to be heavily restricted per week or month.

Though our choices are reducing by the week, there are still plenty of better options out there.

Great...thanks for the heads up Ed.
I was suss as soon as I opened it as I dont even know how they got my home address. It really shits me when the casino's offload our personal details on to others. Getting bloody phone calls in the middle of the night from some random casino that I have never heard of or even looked at their site online really burns me up big time. How dare they. I guess its the nature of the beast that we have prodded in playing online but that kind of thing would just turn me away from them. The least these people could do would be to respect the timezone you live in and call at a decent hour.
Fair Go Casino will be a No Go Casino for me.
THanks Ed !!

Yeah I agree. Many people working for casinos in the northern hemisphere seem to have no clue about the concept of time zones! My phone has a do not disturb mode on it which I set to come on automatically at 10pm through to 7am the next morning. That way I don't hear any rings or messages unless its someone on my contacts list. It might be worth checking if you can do the same as in my experience it is pretty hard to get your number off a foreign company's spam list once its on there.

I already received money from the fair go casino and did not need depositor to withdraw the bonus fund, just this time I believe that there is a casino that apply this system, if you claim bonus without deposit and finish wagering then you can withdraw your funds without deposit and I already prove it,fair go casino is a casino legit and you must enter your favorite casino list

Ok, be very wary of this casino, after depositing funds many times from two different cards, (my bet size is above average for most people) anyway after an extremely lucky spin during a feature with a large multiplier the 1 spin was worth around 30k, at the time there was no bonus in the account and no play through at all.

After going through the process of verifying my account I requested a payout of 2.5k (because this is the maximum which is B'S to begin with. What if you bink the 2million jackpot)

The payment listed as pending for a day, but when i signed in a day after they had reset my account balance to 0.0 and sent me an email stating that they reviewed my account and cancelled all balance due to previously playing some of a bonus with a bet size larger than 10 dollars and in the interest of being fair they would not allow payment.........

Upon the first win i checked and re checked the terms and payout terms and did not see any clause regarding bet size, especially when there is no bonus restriction on the account.

They have so 'kindly' offered a refund of 1k to one of the accounts i deposited from, this was the lesser of the two transaction cards i used, also they have stated another 1500 will 've left in the account with no restrictions, to me this is BS.

As some of you may have experience in dealing with sneaky online operators in the past, is there anywhere at all you can go to contest this because as it seems 100% unfair to happily take your money but then flat out refuse to honor a legitimate win from real cash money, not a bonus.

Also have a close look at the three following photos, first is a picture pre 6.25 spin. (Note the balance)
Second is a picture during the spin (again note the balance)
Third is a picture when the spin has completed (note the pictures in led column the same as above)
The complete spin rewarded approx. 17 dollars and change. And should be calculated as
Balance - betsize + win = new balance
But if you look closely what has happened in this instance and many others, a lot before noticing and some after as a test to see if it was my imagination, in the split second the spin finishes the program takes a further 6.25 from my balance before applying the 17 dollar win therefore making the calculation Balance - bet size - bet size + win = new balance.

I will let you make your own decision with regard to the above, and if anyone from Fair Go reads this, please feel free to comment, apologise, completely contradict or provide any form of reason or rebuttle as it will be much appreciated to hear it from your side and unbias or anger and disappointment which has obviously effected my viewpoint .........

Hi Thejoker82 you're the second person we've had recently complain of a similar thing with this group of casinos - i.e. cancelling of a big win due to betting over the limit after claiming a bonus. We helped the other person out and contacted the casino on their behalf but got nowhere even though we thought we might because the high value spins were placed after the big win and in fact caused him to lose some of that win. They still wouldn't pay.

Two things on this:

1. If you broke their terms, you agreed to them before you played whether you read them or not. If your balance was in part built up by a previous bonus where you went over the limit, realistically they can do that and there isn't much you can do about it.

2. Every time one of these comes up I am incredibly frustrated and annoyed that the software providers (in this case RTG) continue to refuse to program these limits into the software. There is no excuse for not doing this so my only conclusion is because they want to have a "double win" opportunity - i.e. let player bet big and if they lose, no worries. Or if the player wins they don't have to pay. It has been going on like this and we have been telling casinos this for years, yet most do nothing about it so really there can be no other explanation.

Casinos that I can think of that actually program the limits into their software so that you can't accidentally break the rules are few and far between. Some of them call it "max bet protection". Off the top of my head I can think of these:
- Oshi Casino
- Bitstarz
- Video Slots Casino (no Aussies)
- Slots Million (No Aussies)

Lastly on the spin balance thing, I can see what you are saying but as they are static screenshots and not a video it makes it impossible to work out whether you are right or not. The first $6.25 could have been a delayed deduction from a previous spin that had not been applied yet or something. In any case, strange as it may seem this one is not under the casino's control at all. As they use RTG software and the games are being played on RTG's servers, the casino has no direct control over individual spins or in game balance adjustments. If you could reproduce it on a video then we'd have some hard evidence to approach the casino and RTG with.

Overall on this casino and its payment limits etc I'll refer everyone back to my initial post in this thread. There are far better options around, even for us Aussies with less options to choose from these days.

Always play it safe! Consult our list of rogue casinos and warnings before depositing.

It's a very difficult situation to solve, because on the player's side have bet above the maximum limit, and on the software side has the maximum payout limit, it is very difficult if this happens to me, all would want the results of the problem solving with the best results Smile

Thejoker82, you are a high roller. It is sad that they didn't pay you the winnings, because of the max bet rule in bonus play.

Among the RTG casinos, as I remember, Club Worlds casinos didn't have any max bet, but they are gone sour after the ownership change.

Also, Mainstreet Vegas casinos, namely SlotsPlus, Vegas Casino Online, Old Havana, etc. didn't set any max bet rule. But, their withdrawal time is too long like 6~8 weeks on average.

From next time, you would better not to use any bonus, as your bet sizes are high.

Good luck.
