Was this Bovada slot accurate?

6 replies • Last post

I'm brand new to this site. I was on 2+2 forums and someone said to Google "Bet Soft scandal" and it guided me here.

I have a link below. My bad, it's long. Just forward it to the last 5 minutes and you'll see my balance drop which seemed very strange.

10:47 is when the big win is hit
13:47 is when the $599.50 was deducted

It appears like the last win from the 18 lines was removed for some reason - the other ones were kept, however.

It seems really sketchy, with the sudden drop. However, this would be a Bovada problem, not a Betsoft problem. The provider for this game is RTG - Realtime Gaming (at least that was what I found for information).

Is there a transaction history that you can check to see what happened? Did you contact support and tell them about what happened? (Although you did win a good sum, that $599 deduction does not seem natural and you should withdraw then fight for it)

EDIT: CL-Ed found the problem, then.

Perhaps it tried to prematurely add the winnings to your balance, but it was too early and readded it? I'm not sure.

First off this isn't a Betsoft game so the jackpot scandal there isn't relevant. I'm not familiar with the game but despite what other sites report when I looked it up, I don't think its a RTG game either. I suspect that it is probably one of Bovada's internally-developed games.

I went through the video and noted when everything happened.

At 10:45 your balance is $3432.90 then you hit a 3 round bonus, which ended up paying:

Round 1: $150 - balance $3582.90
Round 2: $218 - balance $3800.90
Round 3: $599.50 - so your final balance should be $4400.40

At 11:47 just before round 3 displays your balance increases to $4400.40 which is exactly $599.50 more than $3800.90.
At 11:53 the balance goes up to $4999.90, again another $599.50.
At 13:48 it drops from $4999.90 back to $4400.40.

I think that there was a glitch with the display of your balance. The game has probably paid you before the third bonus round animation played out on your screen and then somehow the client got the message to update your balance twice. Later when it got the correct balance from the server it went back to what it should have been.

I agree that seeing something like that sucks but I don't think that you have been underpaid.

Hi I'm new here mind if I join the discussion. First this is not betsoft game it might came from another software provider. If this slot has a problem Bovada would remove it just like they did on Betsoft slot.

I've had something similar to this happen to me at another Casino that uses RTG ... Do they normally have problems ? Anyone?

Also I have Noticed at Certain times ,when I play a Game on RTG at 2 of My Favorite Casinos , That the Mini and Major Jackpots on a lot of the slots Just Stop!! Their balance quits going up as I'm playing ?? I've Screen-Shots Where I've played $10-$30 on a Slot and the Mini nor the Major Jackpot Number NEVER Change.

Even Noticed when I went to Aztec Millions the Numbers were rapidly going up , but when I hit the spin button 1 time , the Number drastically slowed down , until I got off the game . Have pictures of that too . This has happened to me at 2 highly recommended Casinos in past week.

No as stated above the slot in the video wasn't a RTG game.

The jackpot counters can be slightly misleading because they are programmed to look like they are increasing at all times. So for example if the jackpot is actually $5000, when you start the game it might show something like $4960 and then start counting up while you play, even if you aren't spinning and nobody else is either. They are trying to give you the impression that loads of other people are playing, the jackpot is increasing, and it could go off at any time, so you'd better keep spinning so that you win it before someone else does.

If you saw the counter stop it could be any of a few things like a network problem between you and the casino's jackpot server, a display bug in the game that you are playing at the time, or you could be right and something has gone wrong. The best way to tell if the game is contributing or not if you aren't seeing the jackpot go up while you play would be to close the game and re-open it and see if the jackpot has increased. If it has not I would be contacting the casino immediately.

Thank you CL-Ed , When I 1st log on to either one of "Those" Casinos , the Numbers are going up Great , But I have left the game and went straight back to it and the Numbers STILL haven't moved , not even a Cent. Once I noticed this was happening , I became more aware & started watching . It's not my internet speed . I really don't think it's the Casinos Connection either. Because when I first log on & make a deposit , everything is quick and smooth . I choose a game & the first 2-3 spins are fast , smooth , no lagging . Then something "Changes" . I can tell. The Numbers Stop and as the Reels spin it's very strange . None of this Happened until after I had my 1st Withdrawal at each Casino . Both are Highly recommended Casinos almost all over the Internet .

I'm getting like it's more of a Controlled Play experience after I Spin the reels 2-3 times , and it last till every last penny is gone . Almost No Bonus Features ( That last Reel with snag , Skip & Jump) not to hit a Bonus .
Now I can deposit at a Casino that I've Never had a Withdrawal from and NONE of the Above things mentioned will happen!! I Hate to even mention the 2 Casinos Names as they have Great CS and Very Fast Cashouts , But it's like they are making sure I don't win until they get their Withdrawal back . I'm way up on them versus my deposits . Wish I knew for Certain?

Thank you for your thoughts on this , I think there is something " Fishy" really going on. Ugghh where did all the Honest people go in this World?
