Predictable Play Through - Does this happen to YOU?

8 replies • Last post

I thought I was just unlucky or being paranoid, CL-Friends, but this is really a pattern.

I play a bonus, and I either lose it all right away OR I am allowed to play for a long time, only to not make play through at the very end.

I just had that happen again with a deposit at Grand Vegas. I was allowed to play for several days, which was fun. I had several big wins, but it seemed I was just not meeting play through. I played all week end on my phone, and I could always find a game that would hit and/or give me a nice bonus round.

Then care today. I was very close to meeting play through when all of a sudden every single game just died. I played on my computer and a bit on my phone, and nothing.

When I did hit a bonus round I got one for $2.30 (Haunted Opera), one for $7.75 (god of wealth) and one for $20.00 (Big Bopper).

This weekend, that same god of wealth game (mobile casino) gave me a $150.00 + bonus round!

So as soon as things slowed down I looked at my playthrough and, sure enough, I was getting close.

Now I know we cannot win them all, but when this happens over and over and over again, and as I have said before, right when I am about to make play through, I have to wonder if something is not right.

Does this happen to others or is it just me and my bad luck? It's just getting SO old and SO VERY predictable. 😢

I will be interested in some of the responses of the most experienced players here as well, hope..... While I think i have noticed this I also am very aware that I do two things..... when a casino may be "off"....when most of the games, (or at least the games I am choosing to play) , just arent hitting, I tend to stubbornly play anyway, running down my balance. I deceive myself sometimes that a "hit" is just around the corner or that it is somehow "due". I also tend to get carried away with the games that got me close to playthrough and keep playing. Again, when I should have stopped. I guess I wonder if we see things going south when we are near playthrough , and we stop playing for another day , or even give it a rest for a FEW days if it might make a difference?? I have not done this , but I suspect that the patience could pay off. 🤷

Again, I am curious about others experience as well.......

That is what I usually do. If just nothing is paying I try to stay away for a while. I do try several games, but when I see that pattern I get out of there. I have never had that work, though. But I do think it is smart to leave when a casino "goes cold," because that would be the best thing to try.

For me it almost work like- whenever I'm having a bad day of gambling, it will be bad all the way through in most cases- so I would be making several deposits at different places and would play different games and would still lose it all. But when the good days come I can also make several casouts in a day and also meet playtroug witout problems (unfortunately tat doesn't happen too often). I would recommend to you to try some other software games but as you are from USA I believe the variety for gamblin online isn't that good.

I know it can feel like the games have turned against you right when you need them most not to, but I think this is just the maths of random games like slots that are highly variable in their payouts. By definition if you are ahead then you have had more of a good run than a bad one up to that point. So it should not be a surprise if you hit a bad run as they can and do happen often when playing slots.

If you're taking bonuses where the playthrough is 30x the bonus amount or more (i.e. most of them) then while you will get more money and therefore time to play, the chances of finishing ahead after doing all the wagering are likely less than if you had not taken the bonus. This is one of the reasons that I rarely claim a bonus any more. I want to be able to withdraw whenever I want, and especially right after a decent sized win. If you still want the extra playtime that a bonus gives you, you can consider reducing your bet size instead.

I have thought of trying this and if everything is consistently DEAD when I play without a bonus, I will know it is rigged. haha! 😉 😜 Seriously, though, I just cannot tell you how many times this is happened. Like casinodeb suggested, I have been trying to leave when a casino "cools down" a while. I just find this pattern to be too predictable to be the odds, and I do realize it is all supposed to be random, but I still cannot help but wonder due to what I have read from others and my own experiences. I will try some different things., like depositing without a bonus, and see what happens.

For sure it's not just you Hope 😉
I'm feeling totally unlucky in the last 2-3 years but in the last couple of months it's just have been the worst period in my gambling life probably. Luck, fortune or whatever we call it is of course beyond our control and still unexplainable in the way it works.
I'm mainly a sports betting punter but also like playing casino games, I'd love to think in sports betting the element of luck is a lot smaller because of the knowledge and experience but in fact it's pretty similar to the casino gambling,.
I believe gambling in general is a lot more game of senses than on clear mind but as a whole there are some rules we have to follow especially when things not going our way. and of course it's easier to say than do that.

Ah, at last, I am writing comments to this post 🙂
Yeah, I used to think of stopping RTG games with the same reason.

As CL-Ed mentioned somewhere before, there should be no death switch, and rarely, I experienced the balance steadily increasing over some hundred spins even without any big feature wins, like winnig every other spin and some times 3~5 wins in a row...

So, I guess that we have to try and play many slots searching for the right moment....this is not easy at all, you know 🙂
