So ANGRY with MIAMI CLUB!

58 replies • Last post

I am so angry and disappointed with Miami Club, CL-Friends!

This has been my new VERY favorite casino, so this news is doubly disappointing. I had decided that for the new year, I would play at Miami Club and one RTG casino (for the most part) exclusively, just because I wanted to see what happened if I decided to be a loyal player at just a few casinos and in the name of consistency.

I have been able to request a few withdrawals at Miami Club, which rarely happened at my old favorite, Win A Day casino. I would choose "Pay My Card," and there is a minimum of 150 dollars plus a fee. With my very first win, I had to send in my documents, of course, and they said it would take around five business days once the documents cleared. They told me, after that, the withdrawals would not take as long, but they all ended up taking around five business days, which I thought was deceiving and too long. Still, if I did not need the money right away, I would just figure I could wait five days

Looking back, I should have asked for a check, but paymycard is just so easy and i just got into the habit of going with that method.

So.....I won a very minimal amount the week of April 11th. I fully expected the amount to be in my account by April 18th or 19th and this time I DID need it to post. By April 20 I figured there had to be a problem, so I opened Chat.

This person checked my account, came back and said it would be in my account sometime between April 18th and MAY FIFTH!!! I was shocked! I asked what was happening and they said they recently changed their guidelines. Well, let me tell you CL-Friends this was WITHOUT WARNING! I searched my emails and there is ZERO notification in my email.

I am so angry that I am tempted to stop playing, but I just like the games so much! I certainly will not put another penny in until I receive my withdrawal.

How can casinos do this to people without a notice or warning? Are we supposed to read the entire terms and conditions every single day?

I am very upset! Sad

Yes, so do I, Eric.

And now I just try to go in and play a tournament and the casino is not responding. I am not sure if it is my computer or what, but I tried on my tablet, too.

I am definitely going to email them my sincere disappointment. I have been really swamped with other things, but I have to take the time to email them soon.

When things like this happen, it makes me wonder if they are going to take the money and run. Sad

And I could really use that money about now. I check every day now, not only because I need it, but because I am so angry with them that it better show up.

May 5th is still a long way off, and she said, "Well know it could show up sooner!" REALLY? That is the exact same thing they told me when they said it could take up to FIVE days.

Always take the check Hope. I always end up getting mine in like 3 business days through FedEx Overnight Air. Much faster method from these guys.

Oh, it takes very long there, too. I do not fully know about the withdrawal procedure for US citizens, but, it sounds very long. The whole process should not be over 5 working days - Account Verification, Review/Approval, Payout...

Please, just stay calm. If I were in your situation, I would not play until the money come into the account.

Like I said hindsight. But it just became habit plus I had no reason whatsoever to believe it would take more than 5 days due to past experiences.

No certainly don't plan on it. And they also made it sound like once verified things would be quicker but it never was. Going to try to find time to write that email when I get home from work

I have no specific insight in this case, but I thought I would point out that we are seeing delays at a couple of normally reliable casino groups in recent times (eg. Mainstreet, 5Dimes). I have been told by two separate people now that payment processors for U.S. based customers are even more skittish than usual due to the increased scrutiny on banks prompted by the so-called "Panama papers" incident.

There are moves being made by several notable USA-friendly groups towards greater use of unblockable and semi-anonymous electronic currencies such as bitcoin. For example 5Dimes have gone all-bitcoin recently after having funds seized and I know for a fact that there will be more following suit in the near future.

Thank you CL-Ed. It is good to read some possible reasons for why this is happening to me.

Regardless of issues, some warnings would have been nice.

I have sent off my email, although I do not expect anything to happen, or change. Will be interesting to see if they bother to write back and what they have to say.

Here is Miami Club's response to me. I still do not see why they cannot warn people about this, so we don't have to read terms and conditions daily, but I DO appreciate the bonus they credited to my account. Remember, I was first told 3 to 5 days (and it was ALWAYS at LEAST five).

Here is their response:

Thank you for your loyalty here at Miami Club Casino.

We appreciate you bringing this information to our attention and apologize for any inconvenience you may have encountered in reference to your payout.

The CardPay payout is a very easy process. We're sorry if the information provided was a bit confusing; however, upon your withdrawal request, it stays in a pending state on your Casino account for 48hrs. After that period, the payout is processed (sent to the card) and normally takes within 3 to 15 business days to be credited to your card.

We do understand that information such as these should be updated to each customer. We have tried implementing having to update our customers on different occasions but was unsuccessful in doing so. Due to the type of business this is, information changes on a daily basis; some of which we are unable to control, that is why we encourage our players to keep abreast of the Terms and Conditions.

Your services with our Casino is very much appreciated and we do wish that you continue on with us.

I do hope the information provided is more than enough to keep you with our Casino and for the inconvenience, I have credited your account with a free $50 bonus. Thank you once again for your feedback.

We are always available at your convenience, should you have any questions or concerns.

Sincerely,

Rebecca

Hmmmmmmmm........ "Due to the type of business this is, information changes on a daily basis; some of which we are unable to control, that is why we encourage our players to keep abreast of the Terms and Conditions." SO.... the terms and conditions could change daily if they wanted to change them daily!!! In fact you could read the terms before a deposit and they could change by the time you make a withdrawal request.

Yes the problem is that paying U.S. based players is not an easy process. The companies that do it (known as payment processors) can and do change their rules, timeframes and processes regularly. With the major banks too scared of the U.S. government to handle gambling transactions, it is the nature of the beast unfortunately. That is why many are looking to cut out the banks and go to more direct means of transacting with their customers (such as bitcoin).

So, true! And that is my only issue with all this. I don't know why it would be difficult to inform players of changes. I don't really understand the part where they say something like, tried that before and it didn't work so why try again? I don't know

Oh, well. Live and learn, I guess.

Well this really isn't good that you didn't get any information about the long withdrawal, I would count with that money as well and at the end of the day, comunication is very important and they should have let you know about that. Also, for me casinos that take over two days to withdraw (to ewallet) are just a no no. Good that you got that good will bonus though. Hopefully everything will be fine Smile

Well, I lost my 50 dollars. lol I did read that once you withdraw here you will never win again, but I have withdrawn a few times - probably three or four times. But now every single game seems very tight. Funny how that happens. I love the games, but I think it is now time for me to find another favorite. In fact, I am taking a break for a time while I decide.

My account was locked here without any notice. I asked for support but they didnt explain me why. I never create duplicate accounts or something like that and they didnt have right to lock it. I'm just glad that i didnt have credits on my account.

Wow, that is really strange. Did you send an email to support? It had to be some type of error. I would really be curious to hear their explanation.

I wish there was another casino that had these types of games, because that is my downfall with Miami Club. I really do NOT like the type of games that Desert Nights has, I stopped winning at Win A Day - EVER, and Slotland has too high of minimum bets for me to deposit there, and sometimes I am in the mood for non-RTG games and my choices are limited in the U.S., as you all know.

Ed's link doesn't include Red Stag because there isnt yet an official Red Stag Casino review on here. I have played at Red Stag a few times, though not in a while. I have'nt made playthrough here but I have found the customer support to be really friendly and helpful. You do have to contact them for your welcome bonuses each time before you make a deposit as there is a series of bonuses that you get for your first several deposits. . I am sort of thinking I may play here again soon, myself for a little more variety from recent play. I do think they are worth checking out, hope....

I have a draft review of Red Stag waiting to be published. I'll see if I can get it done today.

Though if you don't like Miami Club you won't like Red Stag as it is the exact same management.

Well Miami Club was my favorite before this issue and a few other more minor issues, so we'll see. If I ever win again there (or even play again, lol) I will request a check.

Sorry, I did not see the link at first, but now I see it.

I signed on to say they paid.

Add the Bovada / Slots.lv / Ignition Casino group of casinos to the list experiencing payment delays. That is now 3 or 4 good US-facing casino operators who have run into payment processing problems in a very short space of time. If I was to speculate I'd guess that they may have been using the same payment processing company which has run into difficulties.
