What Are Your Casino Pet Peeves?

10 replies • Last post

I was just going to post and ask what your casino pet peeves might be when I read coolsongs post about his 20 cent progressive jackpot win! Now THAT is a pet peeve.

Of course we all have the pet peeve of horrible bonus rounds, but what are some other.

Example of my pet peeve:

The casino posts a bonus, say of 150% or whatever. They then say you must deposit $25.00 in order to claim the bonus. Sounds great, right? Wow! A 150% bonus on $25.00 is a great deal, because i don't want to spend much more right now.

I go to my normal method of depositing money, click on Visa, and the casino message says, "must deposit a minimum of $45.00. Well that just changed things, didn't it? I mean I realize it is only $20.00 more, but I didn't want to spend $45.00 today! I wanted to spend the $25.00 minimum required to claim that awesome bonus.

Oh my gosh, this one bugs me every time. I guess I am bothered by the need for consistency, and I don't like surprises. lol

Has this ever happened to you? Does it bother you, or am I just being picky?

What do you think of my casino pet peeve, and what is yours?

I guess that the minimum deposit of $45 via Credit Card might be applied to US Citizen...probably because of higher processing fee on their side...

I have plenty, but my biggest pet peeve is probably the auto-credited bonus. I don't often play with a bonus as I like to be able to cash out whenever I want. So its an annoyance to get an automatically credited bonus that I didn't want in the first place because I then need to contact support to get it removed.

One thing definitely annoys me is no wager visible in the cashier and thrn, especially when you need to ask it to live support and they work limited hours..

How about when you get close to meeting play through and all of a sudden, NOTHING is hitting. I mean once in a great while I make play through, but sometimes I know immediately that I HAVE made play through just because how dead the games mysteriously become. I don't believe I am being paranoid or that it is just "bad luck," because of how I can judge this like clockwork.

Oh yeah I hate that too.

One other is when you claim a bonus and they disallow certain games or restrict the maximum bet size, but they don't prevent you from playing a restricted game or betting over the limit. Come on, its 2016, it isn't that difficult to program your casino to do that!

I agree! Almost as if they are trying to get you disqualified. Not everyone understands the restrictions, especially those new to online casinos.

How about 96 free spins on Cool Bananas at Miami Club (24 spins won and retriggered three times) and an outcome of $63.00? I realize it could have been worse, but so many blank spins in a row makes one wonder. I think bonus rounds should reward an average of at LEAST $1.00 per spin.

Well for me it is almost always like this- when I actually manage to retrigger free spins (on any game basically) I will end up with small win, I just know that. Usually I get bigger winnings when I don't retrigger free spins.
