WARNING - Intertops Casino

7 replies • Last post

This is tough to keep brief, but I want to lay out an accurate depiction for current Intertops players or people considering playing there. I'm in the US fwiw. Had an account with them for several years (I don't know how many). It's been years since my last withdrawal.

-Requested a withdrawal via "Cardpay" on Friday 10/24. This option is similar to PayMyCard, or -Cardforce where your withdrawal is refunded to your debit//credit card.

-Their site says 48 hours for this option

-After contacting Intertops a day later to check on my withdrawal, they tell me it takes 4 business days to process any type of withdrawal

-I continue to contact daily for updates as the money is still in my account, and I've never received an email from Intertops (unless I deposit of course)

-They eventually reply on Wednesday the 29th to let me know the withdrawal has been processed. (I assume to have my money within 48 hours)

-A few days later, they change their site to say 3-7 business days for the Cardpay option

-Support tells me 5-7 business days is the timeframe

-I start emailing daily for updates after 3 business days.

-On 11/4 I ask for proof my withdrawal was processed.

-They tell me it was sent to a Visa on 10/29. My card is a Mastercard.

-I email and leave a message and try chat to find out if that was a mistake

-Someone from support calls me to tell me there was a "glitch" in the Cardpay system, causing them to send my money to the wrong card. They say they reversed it, and were waiting for the money to come back to them, but it hasn't come yet, so they can't send me my money...to my card.

-A different support person calls me 20 minutes later (with no knowledge of the first call), and tells me the withdrawal was processed to my Mastercard on the 29th

-I don't know what to believe.

-I keep asking for proof daily, so I can see that a transaction was initiated. They tell me its out of their hands and to check with my card issuer.

-I do that. My card issuer sees no pending transactions

-I tell Intertops this on 11/5. They tell me to be patient. They say that on Friday the 7th, they will start an "immediate investigation". But the "investigators" don't work on the weekend, they say.

-they stop replying to me.

-At around 5pm EST on 11/6 they finally reply to tell me they never sent my withdrawal, but they'll do it now. They blame Cardpay, and tell me to have a "great day!". They say it will take 3-7 business days to hit my card.

-I respond to tell them they should overnight my money or send a bank wire, as this is their fault, not mine.

-they say "no."

-It's 7pm on 11/6 after just going through this. I know I won't see my money or any attempts at resolution next week. Feeling pretty helpless. Going to post this as many places I can, and then start looking into chargebacks first thing in the morning (not my style at all, but from what I've read online, this seems to be the only way to get them to pay attention).

-Any advice is greatly appreciated at this point

Considering others have reported that they have stopped accepting new American sign-ups I suspect they have payment processor issues.

I would hold off on the chargeback talk with them if you do want to get paid. Casinos that accept Americans are extremely paranoid about that. It's like wearing a joke t-shirt with the word terrorist on it at the airline check-in, they don't see the funny side. You can't even say the words or you will find your account shut down and most likely your most recent credit card deposit refunded. You'll never see your winnings that way, so its the option of last resort.

If it were a dodgy rogue casino that was unlikely to pay your winnings, then I would consider it. However Intertops have proven to be reliable for many years, so although I agree that your experience is not good enough, I would hold off and wait as I am confident that they will pay you.

Great to hear gloeck. I myself am a fan of Intertops and feel that they are a great spot to play, and I have held an account there for a long time.

Please let us know how this turns out for you!

Hi,
wow, really disappointing experience, I really do not want this happen to me. Thanks for warning, I also never had very much lust to play there.

anyway, it is quite comic situation, because in the panel on the left, where are displayed the recent topic's titles, stands "Happy 18th birthday Intercasino! Daily prizes, iPhone 6’s and more" right under the "WARNING - Intertops Casino". 😀

They are different casinos: Intercasino vs Intertops Casino.

Did you ever get your money? I don't understand why they have to lie so much.
