´PlayGrand Casino? Is it safe?

16 replies • Last post

Hi all Smile

Well, im very inclined to proceed with a deposit at PlayGrand Casino. However, as this is a very recent casino and because i can't find any review about it, i'm kind of ceptical.

Site looks great and the games are powered by White Hat Software. 200% deposit bonus, with a 50x playthrough is a little stretched but the bonus is cashable.

Found out the casinos "Licensed by the Government of Curacao, Netherlands Antilles and is operated by Secure View Services Limited" but i don't know what that means.

Well, to resume, the only thing that metters is : Will i be paid if i win or not? Smile :-)

That is a huge playthrough. Bovada always had those high play throughs, which is why I never accept their bonuses. I have never heard of PlayGrand Casino. Can't wait to hear if CL-Ed has heard of it before.

I would wait to hear from him before you deposit those hard-earned dollars, though. lol

No, Hope. Not that casino.

Yes a huge playthrough but for a deposit of 20, maybe is possible to get something out. However, im living a very unlucky moment. Better to stay out from any casinos for a while.

Yeah, I really feel the slots have tightened up compared to when I first started playing. When I take a break, if I need a "fix," then I find some free tournaments. lol Spinning the reels relaxes me when I take a break, and it is even more relaxing when I know I am not losing money, since I am playing free tournaments. I like the 3Dice Tenners: Tuesdays and week ends and some others. Miami Club also has some free tournaments that are pretty easy to place in for at least a few bonus bucks. I am sure you have even more options, since you are not from the U.S.

When you do decide to play again, GOOD LUCK! Smile

I can't say that I have heard of White Hat Gaming software. So I looked them up and it looks like they are a third party aggregator - i.e. they don't make their own games but sell a package of them from different developers to people that want to run a casino. Anyway I can see they have games from Sheriff Gaming, Leander Games, NextGen, and Betsoft. So none of the "big names" but there are some good games there.

I don't know if they have changed their offer or whether it is tailored to different countries but I am seeing this:

Quote:

The Casino offer is a 250% match up to a maximum bonus of $250, for example, if you deposit $100 you will receive a casino bonus of $250, giving you a total balance of $350.

Only 30X wagering requirements on slots, not 50x. The bonus is cashable too which means you can keep it after the wagering is completed.

I have never seen a term like this before though:

Quote:

For a wager to count towards play-through requirements where allowed, the following minimum bets are required, Bingo 0.04 credits, Slots & Scratch Cards 0.35 credits, Table 2.00 credits and Video Poker 4.00 credits.

Sometimes casinos set an upper limit on a bonus instead of a lower one, so it looks like they don't want people "turtle-betting" to complete the wagering. Oh hang on they do have an upper limit too, further down in the conditions:

Quote:

Other examples of irregular game play include but are not limited to, placing single bets equal to or in excess of 30% or more of the value of the bonus credited to Your account until such time as the wagering requirements for that bonus have been met.

So overall, that is a very good bonus compared to most these days. I can't vouch for the casino itself though as I have never heard of it before now. I might give it a go myself later today and see how it goes.

What does turtle-betting mean, CL-Ed? That is a new term to me. lol

That does sound like really good terms. Does this casino accept U.S. players? Either way, let us know how it goes. Smile

Turtle betting is when you claim a bonus then bet as small as possible until the wagering requirements are met. That way you reduce the variance and chance of busting out. It is usually done when claiming a bonus that gives you a positive expected return (i.e. on average you would expect to come out in front by claiming and playing the bonus). Those types of bonuses are very rare these days.

I still haven't managed to find the time to check these guys out yet.

Its like I explained above - players can use turtle-betting to reduce variance and try to preserve as much of a bonus or winnings from a bonus as possible in order to make a profit. Its not so much gambling as using mathematics to give yourself the highest chance of walking away with a profit. Obviously casinos don't like it. Its a smart way to play when on a bonus but many casinos have rules in place to stop you from doing it nowadays.

I think I am a turtle better all the time, lol. I usually play all lines, minimum bet on most all machines: land and online casinos. Once in a while I will go up in my bet for a few spins.

Sorry it took so long but we have finally checked this place out and posted a review here:
PlayGrand Casino

Here is my quick summary: yes it is safe to deposit. There aren't lots of games but there are some very good ones there if you know what you're looking for. There are not a lot of withdrawal methods and they hold every withdrawal for a 48 hour reversal period before processing.

Actually, I hope you didn't deposit yet noctipaulo because since you posted the welcome bonus has become better and we have even managed to get them to set up an exclusive bonus for us which is 300% up to $250, fully cashable, with only 30xB wagering required. Its a pretty good value bonus compared to most these days.

lol, i am idiot. Spent around 20 minutes this morning trying to find where you play and from post screenshot this morning at winners section, i am glad i had link there.
Games selection is amazing for me, i love medusa slots and others from same developer. 300% also looks amazing, and i am was ready to give them a shot before..... Only neteller, thats sucks. Neteller still not accept belarussian customers for some their ridicolous terms, and casino which have no skrill is sick Sad
Also withdrawals looks like processed long, and to be completely honest, i do not see why this casino better than eurokingclub , for example. They give 300% on first 3 deposits, and had same slots, even more of them, and usually update. It is skill on net, and you european affiliates ( Ed australian Tongue) did not like skill on net , but i am their affy also, and never had any problems, my players also very happy with casino.
Ed, did you plan add any skill on nets on board?

Yes PlayGrand really needs to expand their banking options.

A few casinos with skill-on-net software have asked us to review them. However their software has been caught cheating in the past, and we told them that we are aware of that. And now they are much less eager to be reviewed. Smile

Note PlayGrand does not use skill-on-net software, this is just in response to pohgo's question.

Oh yeah in the review we mentioned that PlayGrand had the worst video poker game ever. Check this out... it has landed from a time warp from 1992.

Probably you ask them about adding skrill? I want to try this casino, but need skrill to do so.
